Well, this is disturbing. "Juries and jury selection: Photography of jury selection is against the rules. Juries, once chosen, cannot be shot directly but may be in the background when panning or when cameras are focused on an attorney, witness or exhibit." Cameras in Court

So, does this mean that the jury can be legally photographed on the Moselle property?
Bbm. No, I didn’t mean to imply that. I just don’t trust some media outlets /people not to do anything to make a buck. I’m cynical that way.

BTW, I have had some Fantastic Nurses that were kinder and more knowledgeable than a few Doctors I dealt with. Thank you Nurses for your Service, as I have needed you too many times. Male and Female. XO
HUGs to you and I'm glad they cared for you. Many nurses consider it a calling. We have many on websleuths. Thank you from all of us.

Didn't hear about that but there is an old DM article that says that MM wasn't happy in her marriage and that a charity luncheon check had bounced. Egads!

TY for posting this. I read it way back when it was published (Oct 4, 2021) and clearly this source knows what she (Blanca maybe because whoever it was saw Maggie digging a pill bottle out of the trash) was talking about because we've heard many of these EXACT points confirmed in the trial. I wonder if this source is one of the recall witnesses.

My point was addressing your point to say that RM3 was not driven to an important Dr appt in Savannah in an unreliable old farm truck. I guess you don’t believe they took him in Ms Libby’s car. Ok. That part of the logistics of the day doesn’t really matter.

@Skigirl No, RM was driving JMMs truck and JMM was driving Miss Libby’s vehicle all day after meeting to get RM3 to the doctor.

PAUL was the one driving the unreliable vehicle until around 5 pm after JMM returned to his home on Okatie with his mother’s car.

Since Paul was going to Moselle than evening, JMM said to take Libby’s car back to Almeda on his way, and pick up JMMs truck (which was at Almeda) to take it to Moselle. Then when Paul came to work in Okatie the next morning, to bring JMMs truck back. That’s when and how JM got stuck (in the evening of 6/7) with an unreliable vehicle.

Maybe it’s hinky, maybe not. I think the “meet Greg Alexander in Yemassee” is the part that’s hinky.
Sorry, but this is exactly what the Defense wants. To confuse the Heck out of the Jury AND us! It's a Run around, and frankly a distraction from Facts at/on the scene. This is exactly what the Defense wants! They want the Jury(and US to nitpick vague, non credible info) to distract from Details of the Murders Themselves and Details of That day.
BTW, as a Quaker, I hate violence of any kind, and have never shot a gun, have very little knowledge about them. OTOH, we have Members who know a ton about Guns/Hunting, and I have listened to a few of them, and they are good at pinpointing what is or is not possible in this case, looking at, having tried to recreate the possible situations posed by Both sides. I am grateful for their expertise, though sad it has been needed. Peace until tomorrow.

Not defending or refuting this, but putting this out there... many women take off their very pricy rings and rarely wear them, except for special occasions, and some have said she had gotten a manicure recently so possibly had taken it off for that.

I don't know anyone whose ring has ended up under the front seat of their vehicle, but perhaps it is indeed a testimony to just how chaotic MM's life had become. Poor woman.

I don't know anyone who has a manicure and doesn't put their ring back on, to admire their manicure and hands, before leaving.

Someone somehow leaving their (expensive?) ring under the car seat denotes, to me, a woman who is quite distracted, maybe even unhappy.

IMO.

My view is that they cannot be photographed OR recorded while on their field trip.

If they are actually subject to drones, etc., that will become a separate legal issue, perhaps even resulting in legal consequences.

At any rate, it could just be a somber and respectful visit to the death site (where I live, I pass memorials to the dead alongside the road every day), as a way of releasing some of the intense feeling juries have. Because, in every jury case where I've been able to interview jurors, they speak of the intense desire to actual have justice, which includes respect and repose for victims in murder cases.

The field trip will be like a moment of silence for the victims; two people who trusted their husband/father and who found themselves under assault by family-owned guns, while trying to take care of their animals and a friends' pet. I hope the isolation of the place is not lost on them. But who knows? It's not much different from showing an animation (and I have to say that the Twitter animations that have been posted here - with none of the Twitter account holders being journalists or experts - make it so that people are confusing reality with animated spaces).

IMO.

So i just watched the sex trafficking video. I sure live in a different world than Alex Murdaugh! He disgusts me and he should have had the crap beat out of him long ago. He and his cronies, friends, lawyers, SLED, LE, all of them need to go to prison. Buster and his brothers still get to live with that filthy name. Ugh. I don’t know how Mr. Waters can get this video introduced but i hope it is. People need to know what he is.

Exactly.

The jury, not allowed to speak to each other or anyone else during this visit, will individually form an imaginative view of what happened back then.

If they are leaning toward favorable to AM for reasons unrelated to the property, they can now use their individual, personal impressions of the property to argue in the jury room. The defense knows this.

Hopefully, this will not be an issue. But the prosecution doesn't have the same recourse to appeal as the defendant.

The active elements in this case (humans moving, guns being fired) will be absent. How each juror will view this unusual bit of "evidence" remains to be seen. But there's an element of field trip to this, an element of "jury will remember what isn't so boring," which may well help the defense.

IMO
It seems like a daytime field trip won’t produce any reliable opinions though. They won’t “see” night lights or hear gunshots. They will only see what they see and if a juror is a city person, it’s possible that any remote location like that could influence them into thinking “oh gosh, it’s creepy here, yes, you’d never hear a thing at the house” but unless they fire a gun at the kennels and the jurors are at the house… it’s all going to be up to their imagination. I mean, the shootings took place close together. No one needs to see beyond the photos and 3D renderings the facts of that. Driving between the house and kennels, again, it’s a guessing game for them if no one is going to shoot a gun for them to possibly hear, right?

Waters may yet come up with some case law to keep the jury view from happening due to the change in the landscape. We shall see.

I hope he does. What if it’s really pretty and peaceful there right now? That can have a subliminal lasting affect, just as it could if everything was a mess.

It was VERY convenient that good buddy Chief was right there when the truck broke down. Definitely held on til it was safe for JMM to ditch it. But why?
I think he testified it was a planned trip...following each other. which makes it even more suspect. liked how the pros hit him with the 'chief and AM giving him a 'loan'

Also says he checked out of family and lots of corruption among the good ole boys. Buying and doing drugs . FAVORS from the police etc
No surprise, and so pathetic. MM probably stayed with him for the Security, and children, having no idea, until close to the end, the money was evaporating...
only one paper trail for this transaction...you can bet more with this officer IMO.

Just spreading the Stolen money all over the place, for favors...Just WOW!!!

Wouldn’t she have contacted WC already if it’s legit?

Why wouldnt marital unhappiness have been brought to light by the prosecution already, tho? Why wait til last minute when jurors are wiped out? I would assume an affair, potential divorce, etc., would be one of the first things they’d target.
