How nefarious do you all think AM might be?
Did he try to stage the crime so that it looked like two people? And not to hint at vigilantes, but for a more useful reason. I do not think there was an actual second shooter, but what if, in his fantasy crime, there was another person?
Perhaps he visualized his brother, JMM, for example, at his side.
If he could imply that someone else helped him (when he was finally caught), then that person would go even further out of their way to avoid being mentioned. They would come to his aid, but he'd have a winch to reel one person in.
I guess my point is that AM had realized he was going to prison for life, so he needed leverage. Maybe he thought about asking JMM for help, even planned it to some degree in his mind, but did it all himself. Still, JMM would be very nervous if AM wanted his help and he had a reputation for being a fixer. And AM can point the finger of blame at JMM for years after this trial.
Is this person currently living at Moselle and/or helping with the staging there? What else could be going on behind the scenes whereby AM's siblings still do things for him? I know this sounds like a mafia movie, but, well, it is sort of like a mafia movie. Is it just regular sibling loyalty or does this family constantly corral its members, bringing them in through implication and innuendo?
The two-person theory is, to me, the only real snag that could raise reasonable doubt (although...darn it, AM is obviously one of the two people!)
But if he's really just pretending to be two people, can't he turn it in his favor in various ways? Does he lean in on JMM to support him because he's known to say "HE did it, Dad/Mom/everyone!" since childhood? Wouldn't his siblings realize this about him and know the consequences very well?
ALL speculation, just antsy for tomorrow.
