He was last seen at his family's home on Clarence J. Simmons Lane in Burton on Jan. 15, according to the BCSO.
He was reported missing Jan 20.
Delaney is 5'6" tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The BCSO said his family is concerned for his well-being and said that he frequents northern and southern Beaufort County.
Anyone who has information on Delaney's whereabouts should call BCSO Dispatch at 911.

Body discovered in Beaufort County woods identified as missing man

Investigators say a body that was found in the woods in Beaufort County is that of a missing man.

Officials with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said the body of 31-year-old Rashad Delaney was found Monday morning by a landscaper in a wooded area off Woodhaven Drive on Hilton Head Island.

The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office, who identified the body on Wednesday, said pathologists are continuing to investigate the cause and manner of Delaney’s death.

The body of a man found on Hilton Head Island was identified as a 31-year-old who has been missing for nearly two weeks, according to authorities.

The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office identified Rashad Delaney, 31, on Wednesday after an autopsy was performed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

The Coroner’s Office is still investigating the cause and manner of death, said Beaufort County Coroner David Ott.


The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported that Delaney’s body had been located in a neighborhood near Coligny Beach on Monday, after a landscaper found him in a wooded area, according to Maj. Bob Bromage.

The agency is investigating the death, which he called suspicious.
