Addis said the victim was formerly from Easley and 55 years of age.
The woman's daughter has been contacted and informed of the death of her mother, Addis said.
The daughter has requested Addis withhold the name until Saturday to allow for additional family members to be contacted.
Just noticed Teresa has her name now in the thread title. This makes me smile. I'm wondering if she was possibly homeless, since LE are asking for info about where she lived and with who for the past few months. It almost sounds like she was estranged from her family.

The coroner’s office said the remains were those of 55-year-old Teresa Marlene Hatchell Sell.
Sell is formerly from Easley, according to the Oconee County coroner. Their office received information that Sell once resided with her sister who formerly lived in the Seneca area.
Officials ID human remains found in Seneca as 55-year-old woman
