Is it possible to edit the thread name? I looked at the thread tools, but didn't see the ability to edit the thread title. Based on posters input, perhaps a better title would be:

"Search for a possible POI - Summary of statements from LE and reliable reports relating to LE activity"

Some were concerned that the lie detector testing of TH does not fit with the current title as it has not come from LE but from a close friend of TH. Perhaps the new title above would work as I would think that a public media statement from the close friend of TH as reported in the mainstream press is a reliable source. However, I could see that some would say that it isn't a reliable source. So I guess if others don't think that it is a reliable source, then just consider the lie detector stuff redacted from this thread.

my computer has frozen up on me all day.. but I am planning on taking quotes of interest/tidbits from just the mcso website/their releases.

I already lost my data FIVE TIMES (sigh) as my computer was acting up... but there ARE tidbits in there and a definite jumping ground right from the mouths of LE

none of that came from LE.. neither did the sightings. I will be **trying** to post my snips of interest shortly. It is actually eyeopeneing. It was to me in putting it together (five times LOL) today. I am off for the sixth. Let us hope this time when I hit post it goes thru

It was stated a number of times in this forum that, in this presser, Gates said that Terri was the last person to see Kyron *alive*.

Since then, this has even been stated in the press, such as in an article on MSNBC:

This morning, in watching the video to see what Gates said about something else, I noticed that he did not say that in the segments I watched.

I went back and listened to the entire press conference - twice. Nowhere did I hear Gates say *alive*.

I transcribed where Gates talks about this. I found three places. Here they are:

-6:42 Terri is the last known person to have seen Kyron before he disappeared.

-2:20 We're hoping that because she was here at the time that Kyron disappeared and with him and I mean it's naturally she'd be with him, she brought him to school

-1:40 She's associated with the case because she was, you know, the last person to see Kyron.



Maybe I'm missing it. Could someone please point me to where in this press conference Gates says "alive"?

Early release of information can affect the operation and integrity of the investigation.

New and incoming information is often unconfirmed and needs substantiation prior to release.

Misleading information can harm both search efforts and the investigation.

their actual official statement (mcso.us) says that Terri Horman was the last to see him at 0845 ((official statement))

of course I am not weghing in pressers etc with LE direct quotes.

In fact... what might be REALLY HELPFUL is if we took the barebones in black and put the presser nuggets in red and made one huge chart. what does everyone think?
