This case fascinated me because of the interrogation tapes. The audacity of her. Put aside the ninja story. That whole chilling first day, where she's all about what a great couple they were, and their goals in common. A bunch of places to go see before you die. It's cold. She's such a weird but possible person. I'm glad she's where she needs to be.

For all you :juanettes: :juanettes: out there - just a reminder....

A July 6th article:
http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/...ase/454957001/
Aaron Juan Saucedo, the 23-year-old man accused of carrying out the "Serial Street Shooter" killings in Phoenix, has entered a not-guilty plea to the charges in Maricopa County Superior Court.
[.....]
Saucedo's latest charges include an additional eight counts of first-degree murder, six counts of drive-by shooting, two counts of attempt to commit first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, endangerment and discharging a firearm at a structure, court records show.
[.....]
Saucedo had previously been charged with one murder involving the death of his mother's boyfriend in 2015.
Permission for camera coverage of Saucedo's latest arraignment was requested by a coalition of Arizona news organizations. Saucedo's attorneys objected.
[.....]
The defense argued Thursday before the arraignment that the media coverage would cause harm to their client's case. They also argued that the request had not been filed in a timely manner and that an evidentiary hearing must be held.
David Bodney, an attorney for The Arizona Republic and other media outlets, said the defense holds the burden of proof that any potential harm to Saucedo's cause would outweigh the public benefits, as the case is one of "acute public interest."
Commissioner Richard Nothwehr ultimately granted the camera coverage, citing images of Saucedo had already been circulated in the public.
[.....]
Saucedo's next court hearing has been set for Aug. 16.

From It's Twitter:

#JodiArias has a job now at the commissary. She makes 50 cents an hour--a 500% raise from her last job. LOL...

Aren't commissary jobs considered "cush" jobs?

from cleaning toilets to commisary? what did she do for that?

Hi TexMex. :)

It doesn't seem inevitable that you'll see this, given how totally quiet this place seems to have been for a long while (;)) but, just in case....

Am worried for you about Harvey. Are you OK? There is also a Harvey thread to post in- please let us know that you're safe !

OMG, Hope4More!!! Hi!!

((((FinallyRegistered))). Hi to you. :). Sure is quiet around here, eh?

's appeals are the only trial related news I've followed at all for a very long time. As it happens, just recently the COA docket updated with indications (unless there were multiple typos) that opening briefs won't be finalized for over a year-- until at least October 2018. Yikes.

I kinda miss talking abt JA...lol

Wonder how she's doing...what she looks like?

Surly her main concerns as well, only in reverse.

(ground up cheetos and just the right amount of water makes a rad lipstick. It started in cell block 'D' and spread from there.)

The article is rather sensational however, in regards to there being any "mysterious" circumstances. Oh well
Just because the author doesn't know the specific circumstances doesn't mean it's 'mysterious' but it seems to me that's the actual basis of the claim.

The fact there is no elaboration of what makes the circumstance 'mysterious' indicates it's a claim based on nothing.

Mr. Arias had kidney failure and was on dialysis. There are many co-morbidities associated with this illness, including but not limited to the initial cause of kidney failure. This fact significantly mitigates any claim of 'mysterious circumstances'.

In summary, it's a claim based on nothing, designed to click-bait for a follow up which I suspect is not coming. Modern 'journalism' at its 'best'.

WSLS 10 News reports Felon Arias wants leave from prison because her dad died of unknown causes however the state of Arizona only allows some inmates that privelage if within the state, not outside of Arizona. Felon probably will not get permission for a leave.

http://people.com/crime/jodi-arias-father-dies-might-request-prison-leave/

Under Arizona law, inmates can apply for an escorted leave visit to attend the funeral or memorial service of a loved one. If the request is granted, the inmate will be supervised by authorities the entire time.

However, Arias would very likely be unable to attend her father’s memorial service if it’s held in California. Inmates who are granted an escorted leave visit must remain within Arizonas. Funeral visits are not available for closed casket services, or memorials where the body has already been cremated

“She wants to go, but it seems impossible now,” says the relative. “The logistics just don’t work out. And yes, it’s sad for her, but it can’t be the family’s problem. They’re grieving the loss of a beloved man.”

Just heard....

Too bad. And she already had a call in to Troy Hayden for an interview and free makeup.
