Serological Reports (blood)

You should probably move this info to another thread. I bet there's one with "prints" in the title.

Here's the link to the information I think you're referencing, so you can include it in whatever thread you put the comment in.

http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21540603/detail.html p. 450 handwritten comment from FBI that OSCO lifted latent prints and finished processing them so would not be submitting them to FBI.

Cool. Do you happen to have the (handwritten) page number for that? Page 450 for me on all the docs combined is 10877, but I don't see anything there...

If you click on the wftv.com page, it is page 450, it takes quite a long time to download, big file. It's there, handwritten..............

I think that reporter is wrong. According to this document there was no blood detected on the following items from the trunk:

Q13 swab from spare tire cover
Q14 swab from spare tire cover
Q22 piece of spare tire cover
Q23 spare tire cover
Q24 left side trunk liner
Q25 right side trunk liner
Q44 piece of spare tire cover
Q45 piece of spare tire cover

Right? It seeems this should be easy to resolve: spray that luminol stuff and presto zappo, blood or no blood!

Apologies if mentioned before as I have not had a chance to catch up on the entire thread, but your post has me wondering why is it that the A's preserved Caylee's fingerprints on the mirror, but fingerprints were missing on the shed and Pontiac trunk? :waitasec:

Thoughts anyone?

I think that Cindy is full of it and there are no fingerprints of Caylee on the mirror. Cindy claims to not have cleaned Caylee's room but that is an obvious lie. The room would be covered in dust by now if it had truly not been touched. This was simply Cindy trying to gain sympathy for herself and family.

Cindy and George made sure that the car was completely cleaned when they got it home from the impound yard. It is my opinion that they both knew Casey had done something horrific and the evidence was in her car. They may not at that time known that it involved Caylee, but they knew that someone who had died had been in the car. They began to cover for Casey before they even knew the details of who, how or why. I believe that Cindy reliazed after the first two 911 calls that it was Caylee that had been in the car and that Casey had done the unimaginable to her. Cindy tried to use those first two 911 calls to make Casey tell her where Caylee was (tell me or I will let the police know that you have been involved in someone's death!). Only when Casey refused did Cindy then put the pieces together.

IMO only

Steph Watts does mention the blood in the trunk at least twice in this podcast. Someone said the lead investigator in the case had his own blog.
Someone also said Dr. G was pressured to release her findings on Caylee early, that she was reluctant and nervous to do so. Mark Fuhrman said he is currently unemployed, although he has been on Nancy Grace 94 times since this case began. Interesting to listen to but it was blogtalkradio so take it for what its worth.

HI DA!!
OT- The lead investigator, or one of them, is Yuri Melich. He does not have his own blog (as far as I know). However, he did post on a public forum. That forum was none other than Websleuths. He did not post any information about the case at the time. He had hurt his leg/ankle and many here were posting get well wishes. He logged on to thank everyone for their support and that was the extent of it. I think that is what is being referred to in the podcast.

S. Watts does mention blood twice but test results so far do not confirm that.

Are you saying that Yuri Melich is a member? What is his username? I would like to see if he is ever logged on here while we are posting. Just curious.

Nope...unfortunately he was told he couldn't...but don't be surprised that LE is here at any given time.

NTS...the search button may help you find the info you're looking for.

Bold mine.

I may be wrong, but I don't remember Mark Fuhrman on Nancy Grace...thought he was on Greta alot tho. IIRC

I agree that I have never seen Furhman on Nancy Grace, but I think the 94 times is the reference to how many times his name was brought up on Nancy Grace.

Not what I got. Kinda liked the days when we couldn't link blogs. JMO

Early in the case he was on frequently, and recently he was on her 'panel of experts' - I've also seen him on JVM once or twice.

Thanks! :)

Something that confuses me is this news report saying the *documents* state blood in trunk? But it doesn't say which document.

FBI: Bloody Silhouette of Child Found in Casey Anthony's Car

Hi Cloud!

quoting this from your link:

The information came in an e-mail from FBI Intelligence Analyst Karen B. Cowan to another agency employee written on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008.

If you read the actual e-mail you will see that Cowan is speculating. She even says that later in the e-mail. Moreover, the e-mail was before the tests were done on the stain. The e-mail says September 30th and the testing date and results is October 8th (on page 50 of my link.)

Thank you for correcting me! :) I must be brain dead! LOL

Nah, I don't believe that for one second. The docs are not in sequential order so it is easy to get confused. I know because I get confused all the time LOL.

I posted this a while ago earlier in this thread. I'm going to repeat it here since I think it might be useful given the recent photo release. (I hope that's fine.)

Here is a document containing all of the blood/semen serological info from the 11-6-09 document dump. (Maybe there were serological results in previous doc dumps, I'm not sure.) Hmm...I tried to upload the pdf here, but it failed. I put it on filedropper instead. Link: http://www.filedropper.com/11-6-09seroexams

[ETA: they also looked for DNA even when there wasn't blood/semen. All of the DNA info isn't in the document I linked to! Thanks Seagull65 for bringing this up!]

Below is the verbatim information (except for the /NEG tables) relating to blood and semen detection from the linked document. (I added some of the bullets/formatting, and the note in blue.)
