Shana’s husband spoke of his wife’s time spent with the laundromat and laundry. He also said he went to the laundromat to look for her since he asked her to do laundry. I wonder if there are cameras there. I’m thinking someone might have washed some clothes and/or bedding the night before or that morning. imo

The RV park is surrounded on all sides by privately owned "ranches". The one where she was found is at least 200 acres, I believe. You can see Mitchell Road in street view on Google Earth. Images are posted upthread. The land is typical Texas Hill Country - open with groves of cedar (aka ashe juniper). It is gently hilly as well. Fences and gates of various kinds surround the RV park but the park itself is not fenced as far as I can tell.

Something not discussed here yet is the impact on Shana of living full-time in an RV. She had a dog but for someone with anxiety and depression, it might not have been the best fit to be in such close quarters IMO. Especially, having relocated from the wide open desert near Reno, NV. She did attend high school in San Antonio, though.

I hope they will seek the help of a larger LE agency. Once buzzards were observed, Comal County SO should have gotten onto that property ASAP. The time lapse which allowed deterioration of her body is going to complicate getting answers to cause & manner of death IMO.

My opinions only
Was their RV a motorhone or towable rig like a fifth wheel?

I’m guessing they only had one vehicle which the husband used for work - leaving Shana at the RV Park without any transportation and not able to get out on her own?

Or was her husband driving a company truck? I’m assuming he would need a vehicle suitable for AC repair with all the needed tools and parts/etc.

Exactly. I really hope there are some cctv cameras around the entire area and in the laundry room.
Also: Do RVs have anything like ring cams?

So, has there been a reason for the discrepancy in face up or face down?
Herr, who is with SAR, found her body with the landowner, and was 1st on the potential crime scene says face down. Seeger, the local businessman helping, came after & says face up. I haven't seen Seeger tell that to the media but it was on a Youtuber's page we can't link here.

This story details Herr's involvement:

Seeger is a nice guy who took an active interest in finding Shana. He helped keep momentum going. But he is not trained SAR & had to go on a call when the landowner arrived so he came to the scene after she was found.

ETA: I don't know who is right but am leaning toward Herr.

I don't know about their RV type or what her husband drives. Here is what he said in the article I've linked:

"Nothing was knocked over, everything was upright." Inside the couple’s RV Antos says he located his wife’s phone plugged in charging....

He immediately felt something was wrong. Antos says his wife, who did not work, seldom left the RV without him.

"She could go out and socialize. She wasn’t — it wasn’t her favorite thing in the world to do," he said. "If we went somewhere we went together, you know?"

I tend to believe Herr too, for pretty much the same reason as you, although for the life of me, I do not understand how two men, looking at the same remains at the same time can have two completely opposite descriptions of it. And yes, Herr found her, but he called Seeger immediately, and Seeger apparently got there about the same time as LE, so we can be sure her body had not been moved at all yet. I almost wonder if Seeger, as instrumental in finding her as anyone, may have gotten caught up in the attention he got from the press, etc, after the discovery, and may have spoken a bit too,,,not sure how to say this...carelessly? Thanks for the video.

Looks like a motor home from that video and appears to be in a permanent setup.

The husband’s remark about Shana battling a spiritual warfare is concerning.

Did they attend a local church?

When was the last time a family member actually saw Shana (besides her husband)?

Herr is with Search and Support San Antonio. The group formed during the highly publicized disappearance of Andreen McDonald in 2019.

Herr offered his assistance when he heard DJ Seeger, owner of Seeger Water, was planning a search on a private ranch near DiMambro's home. Herr said he reached out to the land owner and arranged for them to meet on Friday evening to walk the property.
Herr figured since DiMambro was last seen wearing flip flops, she may not have gone very far from her residence.

"I had been searching earlier that day with Mr. Seeger but he had a service call to go to, so me and the land owner searched the property and we found her remains in the bottom of a dried out ravine," said Herr.

Herr said the body was faced down, decomposed and appeared naked. However, he knew it was DiMambro based off two tattoos located on her neck and back.

So, forgive me that question, but what was she doing all days when her husband was at work? Sat in RV, cooking, cleaning and staring in the wall? That's very isolated life, far away from her family, friends, without work (therefore without her own money, I presume) no socialising, rarely even leaving the RV without husband...

Someone with deep depression can crawl into bed and sleep for days and watch movies all night. Also particular meds can act as a sedative and cause a person to sleep every day, no joke.

In the media interview he said that "the laundry baskets were still there" (so it didn't appear that she did laundry that morning like he asked her to) but he went to look for her at the laundromat (100 yards away) anyway. And then he went to the shopping center to check if she was there, before returning home and calling her father and LE.

ETA: He mentioned her "sadness" about four times in that video.

I'm going with Herr also. One reason I believe she was face down is because Herr said he knew it was Shana because of the tattoo on her back and neck. He could not have seen those tattoos if she was face up.

Laundry…All Day. Every Day…

Chris Antos: Yeah, she's stays here. You know she likes it. She goes back and forth from the laundromat to here and that's usually about, you know, the most she gets out during the day, you know, whether you know..

Interviewer: How far is the laundromat?

Chris: 100 yards
*Four mentions of laundry along with the four mentions of sadness.
