The edit and delete feature is only available for 24 hours. I found that out when trying to mantain and update a case timeline.

LOL thanks so much SusieQ! I saw that edit button after I sent that post in and I thought (boy I must be really dumb...there's the button right there) but when I went to a back post that "edit" button was not there. It helps to know it's on a time limit...

Yes, I have begged for that to be changed as I am the edit/delete queen. LOL They can fix it so there is no time limit, but they choose not to because it would "mess up the board". (They don't understand my need to go back and fix my typos. :crazy

On the outdoor pics - you know the one where they are wearing the white shirts and CC is bald? I'm guessing those are at least a year old because I was surprised to see how much hair he had in the video of him coming out after the second set of fingerprints. Hey everyone - just checking for a minute (making soap today) and appreciate everyone's comments. I caught a bit of an old Nancy Grace my hubby taped and they showed a picture of Sheri, looked like Christmas, and she was staring at the photographer with obvious emotional pain in her eyes.

I'm not sure that she didn't suspect/know something was going on for a while. I just can't imagine that she knew it was TL back then. I still think that might have been what precipitated the fight and attack. Maybe Tara sent SC an e-mail (or forwarded one). It would be very interesting to know if TL is preggers. If so, my heart breaks for her in a way - she will never live this down, and may even be implicated before it's over (or be given immunity which still implies guilt)

So many lives lost and in ruin, and for what?

I'm wondering about the girlfriend. Does she think he's this dark anti-hero because he killed his wife and children for her? Maybe she thinks he's a chump and she gets a thrill out that. Nothing much said about the girlfriend thus far.

One last thing I want to say about that deer video.

If you kill one, you need to 'bleed it out' right away, or the blood will coagulate in the meat, rendering it useless.

Either they had a knife on them and bled it out properly afterward, which entails choking to death an already injured, scared, defensless, cornered animal, which indicates some undesirable traits.

Or else they had no knife on them, never had the intention of bleeding it out and using the meat showing this to be a thrill kill, for no other reason then to tape it and enjoy the show at a later time.

Neither of these promotes a very warm feeling towards this individual(s) for me, that much I know.

ETA: When hunting, it is the goal of the hunter to do the kill shot, meaning kill the animal on the first shot, not to injure it and cause it to lay suffering until the hunter finds it and can choke it to death. Sorry, that's just not hunting. That's beyond sportsmanship.

I reported a few days ago that I knew this thread was being read by CC's family.... I agree they removed it. IMO they realized how some of the general public was viewing it. Again, IMO, I think WS helps the prosecution team, and newspaper reporters, but also the defense team!!! Ya gotta admit, there is a wealth of info here.

I've tried to locate some, but keep finding the ones we've seen. I don't have access to any of the online social networking sites...maybe there are some there (probably have to go in the back door to locate them, though).

Whether SC knew about TL, TL knew about SC... and carried on w this "best friend's" husband anyway. My heart breaks for alot of people in this situation, but I'm afraid TL isn't one of them. She should've required this husband and father to finalize his marriage before starting something with him, we might've seen a different ending. JMHO

New Details On Coleman Murders

Meanwhile, a former co-worker finds the allegations against Chris Coleman almost unbelievable.

There was new insight into the Columbia, Illinois, triple murder case, Wednesday, from someone who used to work with accused killer, Chris Coleman, 32; someone who is now covering the story as a photo journalist.

When police led Coleman from the Columbia police department and into a waiting squad car to take him to jail, there were reporters and photographers everywhere. One of them was looking through a camera at someone he considered a friend."

Does that mean that Wise worked with both CC and Sheri? I don't remember hearing that Sheri had worked for JMM?

* Reports that CC took Garret and Gaven to a Cards game two days before the murder. I wonder if CC took the kids to games on a regular basis or if CC was trying to make the most of his last moments with his family? It also seems strange that Wise knew about the outing. CC worked nights guarding JM, I don't see how the two would cross paths.

* Wise describes what happened when a reporter asked CC about Garett and Gavin:
"You did see him drop his head ... you just knew it'd just sunk in to him. He was having the full realization of the impact of what he's going to go through."

I guess I must be having a moment of supernatural grace, or something, because I certainly agree with you and even wonder just how involved she is in the premeditation of this tragedy. I just feel so saddened by the whole thing. I wish I could hit the rewind button and have this one turn out differently.

Well, there's a lot of hunting in my area in Northern Il and the hunters here try their best to kill the animal on the first shot, not to just bring it down. The idea is to not make the animal suffer. To use a knife to finish it is one thing, to strangle it is quite another. A hunter who doesn't have a knife is like a doctor who doesn't have a stethoscope, IMO.

Very true -- I doubt my brother has ever used his bare hands in hunting. That would be very errie to me. Personally, I don't like hunting, because I always feel for the animal -- but you would have to be very detached to kill an animal with your hands

While I am sure shock at seeing someone they know being charged for a horrific crime is common from most, it happens every day. Granted, there are those people who commit crimes and their friends say, "I can see this person doing it because they were abusive.".

I am of the opinion that few people saw this coming with Chris Coleman. They did not see him as abusive because, imo, he may not have been at all. There are people in this world that hide their demons well. I think he simply vanished his family without the pre-emptive strikes we are common to seeing in such cases.

His friends and family have to come to terms with the truth.

I was wondering if anyone knew which side of the house Sheri's bedroom was on. Was it on the same side as the neighbors that heard the 3AM scream from the Coleman's home?

The houses in the neighborhood look rather large. I wonder if they would have heard Sheri screaming if she was screaming on the opposite side of her house compared to that neighbor. Does that make sense? If the neighbors heard the scream and Sheri's bedroom is on the opposite side of her house in relationship to those neighbors there is the possibility that there was a fight between Sheri and CC before the murders. I don't know how to explain what I'm thinking, it probably isn't really important anyway, but can you see what I'm getting at?:help:

Did they come to the aide of their mother and that is when he killed them too to leave no witnesses behind?

It's my understanding each were in their own bedrooms. Nancy made a point of it on her show the other night, that the killer methodically went from room to room.

Thanks. It seemed he did it stealth style. Maybe Sheri was able to scream once before she died. He could have even already killed the children by then so they couldn't come to her aide.

Such a sad case.
