Ana, please don't think that my "learning" experiences have put me "off" men or influenced my opinion of CC in this case - he's done that himself (Tanks for the list, Wrinkles!) FYI, I'm a happily married grandmother who gets along with most everyone - I've just learned a think or two in my travels, so to speak. One of the things I've learned is to question are "blanket" statements that don't have any substance to back them up. We've read plenty of facts that point to CC as the perp. . . but I've yet to hear one convincing argument that he's not. I'm all ears. . .

I'm a tad bit behind as you might have guessed, but I can't wait to read the lists of things from all of those who respond that points to CC's innocence! (I promise I won't skip ahead!)

Fact: There has been no reward fund established by the CC family (parents, brothers, cousins -- actually anyone related, not anyone at all) to find the real killer.Additional facts:

Fact: CC NEVER appeared on TV, nor was he heard on the radio asking and/or begging everyone to help find the person who murdered his wife and two children.
Fact: CC NEVER established a reward fund to help find the person who murdered his wife and children, though he had plenty of time to do so before he was arrested.
Fact: There is no information about CC taking a lie detector test on behalf of his loved ones and in hopes of getting LE directed toward a "real killer."

BBM - Amazingly though, they did set up a fund for his defense. Hmmmmm...........If he was innocent, (ahem - if they knew he was not guilty), wouldn't their priority be to set up a reward to catch the real SODDI instead of a fund to be used for Mr Precious to beat his charges?

I lose respect for CC and his family by the minute - it just keeps getting worse as far as I'm concerned. Would it have been such a stretch just to have them - ANY of them - publicly say what wonderful people SC and the boys were, how much they would be missed, that they hoped whoever did the crime would be brought to justice........ I can't think of a single reason why CC couldn't have contacted SC's family - I can't think of a reason why his family wouldn't have contacted SC's family and offered their sympathies and grieved along with them, especially in regard to the children. I can't think of ANY reason why CC and family would have tried to deny SC's family the ability to have a memorial service with SC and children........ All I see from the Coleman's is protection of their son. No reality... no compassion... just control.

I agree, Who Knew! IIRC, didn't the Petersons speak out publicly on how they felt terrible about Lacy's disappearance? Seems to me they did, but I can't remember for sure.

Wow, I hate to be an A$$**** and read the few hundred posts from the past week, I was on Vaca in Vegas, but has there been any breaking news in the case?

TCO, I think you'll wait a long time to see a list of things that could point to CC's innocence. Very short list:

1) JMM has people who hate her. Ergo, the threats could have been real.
2) Sheri's cousin Enrico Mirabelli once protested The Sopranos for anti-Italian prejudice. Ergo, the Mafia could have done it.
3) Tara Lintz was once married. Ergo, a jealous ex-husband could have done it.
4) Tara Lintz could have done it for crazy Fatal Attraction reasons of her own.
5) Sheri could have been having an affair. A crazy lover could have done it.
6) Some random killer could have done it.

I have a seventh theory: Sheri had the goods on Ron Coleman's empire of embezzlement, aka Grace Church. Ron Coleman brainwashed CC to do it using Evangelical Krav Maga techniques on his mind, and promised Chris the reward of Tara Lintz (you just go git 'er, son).

All but the last have been floated, but none float.

I LOVE your theories! Especially the 7th one! The only problem with that one is that SC was too nice a person to blackmail. But - change it so that CC had the goods on RC, CC used EKM techniques to brainwash RC into doing it so that CC could have the love of his "netherparts". "Netherparts" courtesy of another WS poster!!

Because in his sociopathic "I'm more important than everyone else" mind, he figured that it was believable that the crazy ninja would target the family of JM's big, bad bodyguard.

Maybe like if they got to him and his family it would show they were capable of getting to JM eventually.

I have a question regarding cc's attorneys and finances. Once he virtually has no resources, and his family is out of money, then does the state of Illinois have to pick up the tab on the high priced attorneys and the specialists they will pay to testify? The state of Illinois is way past broke. I am insured through my DH's job with the state and they are not paying my medical claims because they have no money. I'll be royally pi$$ed if they pay this jerk's defense fees when we never know when the state will be unable to even make payroll. I realize this all comes from different funds, but the understanding I have is that Illinois has borrowed money from every fund including the state retirees fund (which we have to pay into). Getting angry.................
