This looks to me like some kind of pro-jodi site that is trying to pass as information but is nothing more than another place to slam any and everyone that does not worship the thing. I would not be surprised if it isnt yet another of the secret "missions" being mounted by a certain misguided and/or delusional band of JA groupies on the site that shall not be named.

I read the author's page after the fact and saw who they supported.

I see there is a lot of talk about CMJA's family not being in court for the verdict in the penalty phase.

Does anyone know with certainty whether or not the court has a legal responsibility to notify the convicted murderer's family of a verdict being reached?

I know that there are laws under the Victims' Bill of Rights, but I am unsure if any rights extend to the family of the accused/convicted. It would seem to me that notification would be a courtesy and carried out by the DT.

:thumb: Good question!

I think the DT would have to notify the family, but if the family is not around, kinda hard.
Also, Jodi may have demanded they not call her Mom as the "lack of family support", is part of the mitigating factors.

I'd like to know what really happened.

O/t George Zimmerman trial starts 6/10. Not sure I can stomach that trial.

I really do not know much about that case except that a kid was killed.

Yeah but the dude claims he deserved it. It will be ugly for sure...but I prefer to follow this than nutjob AS...JA has my nutjob quota all full for the year.

I am beginning to wonder if Jodi Arias herself might have told her family she didn't want them in the courtroom for the penalty verdict perhaps out of bitterness/envy of what they have and she can't have - namely FREEDOM ...?

I'm dropping in asking for prayers for a friends son that went missing from a rafting trip on the Meramec River near Eureka, MO on Friday. High water & rough terrain have made searching difficult. The same family lost a brother to murder when we were in high school & his body was found in a strip mine lake. I know the disappearance of their son/nephew is bringing up those memories again also. Please just say a prayer for Jon (Jay).

Hey guys I commented on this Bill Montgomery article re: the DP but I can't seem to navigate there well w my iPad. It says "continue reading" on my comment but that link takes me nowhere. Can any of you on a real computer tell me if it displays the whole comment? Mines at the top (still not home otherwise I'd do it myself!).

Ps lots of JA comments there too.

Great comment KCL...I'm for anything that makes it easier on your family, or Travis's family, or any victim's family...

Oh, and I totally agree that they should have no TV...and I think they should have their fan mail taken away.

I set up a new fountain in my yard Saturday morning and all my little chickadees have been slowly finding their way to it... So this morning when it was half empty I was like....

So I filled it up...and then my dog walked up to it...and only then did I realize I just installed the perfect water fountain for him. :blushing:

Good Morning everyone!! I think this is the first time I have turned on my comp. in well over a week. My 85 year old mother was told she had to be out of her apt. by Monday the 27th of may. They are remodeling the apts. Bless her heart she sat there watching us pack and move everything in silence. I don't think it hit her, until we packed her in the car to move her too. She didn't realize it was temporary. Her memory is really going, and doesn't remember what you told her two minutes later. One thing we found out is, she hasn't lost the fire in her deep green eyes. :scared: She started yelling at all of us that she wasn't going, and when we saw the flames in her eyes flowing out at us, we all ran. :floorlaugh:
She is very independent, well as much as her memory will let her. She decided that she wasn't going to stay with anyone, so the only option was to set up my brothers camper, at my sisters front door. lol BTW it is a large one.
The reason she didn't want to stay with any of us is because we all have pets, LOTS of pets. Between my brother, sister, and I we have 19 dogs, and 6 cats, but the funny thing is my mom has a dog and a cat, and the ones we have she rescued and brought them home to us. Boy how the tables turn when you get old. She used to be called the cat lady of our little town. She fed every cat in town, and all of them looked like they needed to be put on a diet. :floorlaugh:
Then Monday morning I woke up sick, the flu from he!!. I was in a simicoma for a whole week. My husband said he is so glad I have returned to the land of the living. Missed Yall!!

Welcome back GrannyA, I'm so sorry you've been feeling bad. Flu really bites!
Good luck with your mom...my mom's best friend is dealing with the same type of issues with her 91-year-old mother...can be very stressful...

Oh nooo, so scary...Prayer sent for Jay, his family, and all his friends! I hope he's on a bank somewhere with a broken ankle or something...

Yikes! Sounds very scary!

By chance - is this place in Oregon? My hubby and I were traveling through Oregon once and he thought one of the hotels we visited had been in a movie, and I thought he said The Shining, but this was so many years ago I don't remember.

I once had a creepy experience at a bed and breakfast in Micanopy, Florida - just outside of Gainesville where I went to college.

Respectfully snipped...

ooo, ghost talk... I love it! I'm a big fan of Ghost Hunters/Taps :)

I was recently in St. Augustine, FL, on a business trip and stayed in a hotel that is supposedly haunted, although it seems like every place is haunted in St. Augustine. They said that the 4th floor is where the activity takes place. So of course, after a few cocktails with friends, I roamed up there around 1am to check it out. Nobody in sight, just me roaming around the hallways. The paintings on the wall were super creepy, the kind that follow you when you walk. After a few minutes I decided to go back downstairs, got in to elevator, hit the # for my floor, door closed and... nothing. The light on my floor button went out and the elevator just froze for probably about a minute. I kept pressing buttons with no luck. Then all of a sudden, it started and took me to my floor.

When I got out of the elevator, I walked my usual route to my room but... I couldn't find my room. All of a sudden, the hall looked different. So I thought maybe I was on the wrong floor. I went back to the elevator and sure enough, I was on the right floor. I walked in circles for almost 5 minutes in a total panic thinking I was in a twilight zone episode and my hall disappeared. I had no idea what to do. After a few more laps, I realized that there was a door to my hallway that had been closed. I just didn't recognize where I was because I hadn't seen that door closed before. Duh. I felt like such a moron. I was convinced that the hall was swallowed up by some demonic force, lol :)

Oh God love her!!! I went through that very same with my grandmother. It is so emotional for them and for the family. I wish you all the best during this stressful time. I hope her health isn't affected. It affected her health not to the point of hospitalizing her but elder care is always walking a tight rope.

(((((( hugs to all )))))))))))

The reason I wrote my post about NancyGrace was because of a back post I read .
I have been thinking about PerryVille Prison and the vedios I have been watching I feel like JA does not know whats in store when she gets there...Do you think her L. have filled her in are just waiting for to find out for herself.

JA probably has numerous jailhouse friends that have told her what prison is all about.

Morning :seeya: I can see your whole comment. And you have 7 "likes" :)

No, I don't recall. I joined WS in early Feb.

I think she made that shirt herself. Alot of the stuff Jodi testified on the stand became moot after the gas cans lie was brilliantly put together by Juan. That was my favorite moment of the trial. :rocker:

I wonder if the jury even connected her Survivor shirt she held up during her presentation to the shirt she said Travis sent her. I doubt it as I think all the jury heard during her speech was "blah blah blah"

iPad teaser!! Lol mornin Spellbound :seeya: ps luv your little smiley there lol
When I saw this I immediately thought of our favorite Websleuths wine connoisseur.

Suck, blow...both are necessary for the harmonica.

:floorlaugh:

Yes, I know that...but how in the world do you blow or suck to get a string of notes (or even individual ones) that sound good together?!

What I have heard about PerryVille Prison I think I would want the DP and would want them to do it as soon as they could because I know I would go crazy in there being a small room know contact with others and you know the rest of the story well she didn't think about that when she did what she did I really think she thought she would get by with it and go on with her life and one day do it again because she did get by...TO LATE
NOW....Prison will be her new home the out come of her new home and how she does is a ?
