Mom is okay...thanks for asking...her resting heart rate is 40, which accounts for the passing out.

They gave her a chemical stress test today and her pulse never got above 67....

They are changing all her meds and may put in a pacemaker Monday.

No male nurses for her to flirt with when I was there earlier today... :floorlaugh:

:seeya: did anyone get back to you on the July weather? I was there 10 years ago over the 4th of july and it really depends if its raining. I would take a light rain coat, I was glad I did. There were some chilly evenings!

Okay .. I know I'm old (63) but this is my favorite "feel-good-summer-song". It was a one-hit wonder, but living in Canada and not getting a lot of summer weather (3 months or so), it just picks me up everytime I hear it. I'm a girl and I know it's about guys cruising around picking up chicks, but I love the song and the beat.

Makes me wanna go cruising!!!!!!!! Makes me feel kinda "young" actually :floorlaugh:

I love to drive. I once drove a really amazing car on the Autobahn. That was soooo awesome. The great car, the speed, the countryside and, best part, everyone knows when to just move the heck over!!! I've owned a Porsche, too. I still have a great car, but I drive it like a mom most of the time :::sigh:::

Juan is not the district attorney, he works as a prosecutor for the DA's office. Montgomery, IIRC, is the DA

Just catching up and read about your brother. Hope it works out for him. What a great sister you are! If he is in a hotel, you can always pay for a night at the hotel, or have them send room service to him, or pick up part of his bill. Just some ideas since he doesn't want money.

Hope everything is hoakey-doaky.
I've had the most marvelous day. The rain finally stopped and my handyman came to brushhog the front yard (it's on a slope). I weeded 'til my knees ached, but still need to prune the deadwood from my roses (unfortunately lost some roses because there wasn't enough snow cover-bah). The front yard looks so good now (thank goodness for the handyman- without him I'd be lost-LOL).
So. What's happening?
