How have you been doing?
Good, I hope.

Apparently, every new FIAT comes with a complimentary Italian family in the backseat. (I can't afford a Fiat :scared: ).

I don't think TA had the tools/ model to discern what a healthy relationship was actually supposed to look like. He cheated on Deanna, could not commit, appeared to be in conflict with his morals/teachings of his church and his sexual self. This is not uncommon. CMJA was like crack for him. He may have tried to move on, but obviously he had a hard time doing so. He struck me as a guy's guy and not necessarily the boyfriend you dream of having. Nice guy yes. Great guy yes.

So- it seems I'm talking to myself again

I think we should learn to play the piano this year, too. :floorlaugh:

Now play close attention

And don't forget those language lessons- quizzes are coming :lurk:

I think a lot of people, men especially, have a hard time committing themselves to a relationship (of course things may be different now than when i was dating so many years ago - maybe they're worse? :scared:).
Just because he didn't follow his religion- exactly, word for word, doesn't make him "bad", IMO. Some religions are hard to follow.

Can't finish- my son needs help in something- BBL.

My son has just finished his "personal statement" that is required for his application to graduate school.

:fireworks:

It is magnificent (if I may say so). It is the pure essence of who and what my son is as a person and why he would make a good social worker.
If they don't accept him, IMO, there's something wrong with the university.
Thank goodness, no more nagging from me.

Hi there, YorN! I logged in today after watching the show about JA on the ID network (the supposed "sex kitten." whatever!) to see what everyone else thought. I see there is a separate thread for that so I'll shut up. My sister (who didn't follow the case) told me it was on, so I called my cable company and paid the $5 to add that channel to my cable package.

Anyway, hope all is well! I've been on WS on and off in the last few weeks, following the Heather Elvis case on the Missing forum, but just logged in tonight to chat.

Are you staying warm? Iowa hit 50 degrees today so I was finally able to wash my car! Yay!

M, I too have been checking in. I have been on the Jahi McMath thread. Wow is all I can really say. Unbelievable. Hope all of you are doing well.

Btw, Shanna Hogan was entrenched in this case and was on this case from the beginning. She has talked to TA friends and family, LE, etc. She knows what she is talking about. One misspoken word does not her make. JMO

I agree with this. I've been a Shanna supporter for a long time, and since the JA trial began I've read some of her other books. She may not do well in front of the camera (I didn't care for her appearance on The View and I'm reading that others feel the same), but she knows what she's talking about. She does her research and I think she's very credible.

What book did you like the best?

I want to give TA the benefit of EVERY doubt--especially at the time of his murder. So many people have given JA the benefit of the doubt despite all of her PROVEN lies. It's in our nature to give other humans the benefit of the doubt in so many instances.

1.) I don't believe he knew she was coming to AZ that night. -----(Lack of phone contact leading up to her arrival.)
2.) I don't believe he let her in his house that night. -----(SHE said she watched him UNAWARE on the computer, he checked email without THE HACKER there to see, SHE SAID SHE LET HERSELF IN!)
3.) I don't believe they napped together that morning. -----(His text msg around noon that day-but phone was found downstairs in his office.)
4.) I don't believe they had sex that day. -----(AFTER the text, he left his phone downstairs, grab his cam, go upstairs to pose for bed pics???--neither of them look pleased in the pictures.)
5.) I don't believe he posed for any pictures willingly that day. -----(I believe he was held hostage from the moment she came in his home AFTER the text msg to Chris Hughes @ noon.)

I believe the very worst of Jodi--
* she stole the grandpa gun
* snuck into AZ
* snuck into his house
* used the gun to hold him hostage until she got exactly what she wanted------Travis terrified, submissive, obeying her every command, humiliated by the photography,

She already knew his darkest fears:
*his previous encounter @ gunpoint
*his childhood terror/abuse/submissiveness/helplessness
*his privacy/modesty regarding prior photos
She used this knowledge to ensure that he would pay for his threats to reveal her as a Sociopath--she showed him how wrong he was--what a TRUE PSYCHOPATH she really is.

Reality is to see a Dr. here is next to impossible as we have a shortage.

I only go to the Dr. for refills and anything major, like lungs, our anything extremely painful.

The healthcare in this country is not the greatest and it is getting worse.

They are talking about "Skype" Dr.'s ... hmmmm.

Don't lump the entire country into the 'not the greatest and it is getting worse' category. We're healthier and better cared for than our American friends, friend. :twocents:

What still baffles me and proves that she belongs to be locked away from society forever (or DP) is all that driving. Driving...........driving........and driving. Looooooooooooooooooong stretches of desolate highway. Stars shining brightly above in the deep dark night.

What was she thinking?..Was she singing along to sad love songs to help her not to turn around? Did she not play out in her mind every possible scenario ? How can she think that she could get away with murder? To hurt his family, her family....change the future etc...to never talk herself out of doing is.......that is what gets me..........all that time to think about what you are doing and never turning around. Baffling.

What book did you like the best?

I guess I should've said her "other" book. I read Dancing With Death a few months ago....actually liked it better than the book she wrote about JA.

ElleElle's in Canada, you also ? Just wondering, as that's the first I've ever heard that Canada has better health care than here in America. Sadly, it may be heading that way though. I don't think Princess thought it was better either, from her posts. RIP Princess :(
