None of this will be televised, correct? I used to DVR her 1st trial.

IMO to her it will be so much fun for her (and very tramatic for them)to put Travis' family and old girlfriends through her personally questioning them. I'm :fence: with another poster who pointed out, if this is a mis-trial, that she CANNOT get the dp. It will go to the judge who may have the 2 options of life or 25 years. I can't fathom :gaah: her questioning me if I were a witness. SMH SMH SMH

Aunt Sue seemed to take credit for being her stylist, saying that all of her courtroom clothes were bought at Kohls. At least that is what the new fundraising site Justice4Jodi said when debunking myths about CMJA.

And I call BS to the clothes coming from Kohls. My take was that the styles, fit and colors were all very dated and it is my guess that her "wardrobe" was purchased at either a second hand store or a vintage shop. If anyone has seen clothes at Kohls any time in the past few years like what she wore in court, please speak up and prove me wrong.

:seeya: Shelby :blowkiss: Yeah, after her getting to depose folks/see evidence/and trying to get a mistrial so that she only has the options of life or 25 years. Second one...DP is off the table.

Cannot imagine being on the witness stand, no matter WHICH side, and having her question. OMG we all need to do road trip.

Shelby, put down the pitch fork and farm tools and let's do a road trip to AZ! (or meet with pan :giggle:)

Thanks for being there at the time, and sorry to hear so unhealthy to you as you exuded such positive thoughts throughout! Glad you have moved on to a better life and best wishes as you deserve it!
 
Interesting pattern. Arias sought to play her own counsel and to present fraudulent forged evidence to the court, as such. Now she wants once more to represent herself and has already sought particular evidence from L.E. She did not have the cooperation of her court appointed attorneys in the first instance and undoubtedly, did not have them on board with this demand either. "Fool for a client" has already been demonstrated!
 
She's earned her GED, thanks to Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Combine her newly found scholarship with her narcissism, and you could see this coming a mile away.

The strategy, I'm certain, is for her to fail so that she can set up the ineffective assistance of counsel appeal.

Hey Tuba,
it also came to mind that Jodi will be in charge and her attorneys will take orders from her, even if only for a brief time, and that she probably is reveling in the idea of it all. Can you imagine how many times Nurmi told Wilmott to ask the killer to sit and shut up? Now she can tell Nurmi that. As for fabricating evidence, oh ow I wish she would and the jurors could be told that she did it! Sure wish we could see this trial.

JSS told her yesterday that if she represents herself, she will not be able to file an appeal for ineffective counsel.

From what we have heard :moo: in many posts above is that she gave up the right to appeal for ineffective counsel. And can only perhaps *initiate/prod" a mistrial...and therefore will by law go to judge who can only do life or 25 years. I'll sit on hands waiting for lawyer to confirm this..but if a mistrial (due to someone on stand spitting in her face for example) that it goes to judge. No retrial for this phase and no more DP on the table if that happens.

I really wish that we could all see this through streaming.

Remind me again why was Victoria Watson allowed to withdraw but Nurmi wasn't?
