Already there. I even got some extra sleep this morning after dropping my daughter off so I could stay up a little later tonight. Don't know how long I'll make it though.

neesaki and I are lucky! We have insomnia :countsheep:

Alyce was a screenwriter? on several lifetime movies and is listed in the documentary.
Thanks, I didn't see (or know) that. I guess what I'm seeing is this group of women, all apparently 'known' in the DV community, looking to JA as a future poster girl for their cause. None of them seem to have any problems with using a dubious claim of DV to sell their wares, or trying to make a sympathetic victim out of a murderer. If JA does get LWOP/LWP, look for them to help fund appeals and national publicity attempts to demand her release. With JA's notoriety and her already built 'fanbase', she probably looks like a sure money maker to these women.

DH home ~~tomorrow we go to VA for intake evaluation ~ intensive therapy starts next week. This is all sol new to me. Still wish they gave him something to calm him~~pray we are somehow to figure out transportation to the VA ~~i don't drive much and bate Seattle driving

One day at a time, my friend.

The gift that keeps on giving. Surely even her supporters will tire of her eventually. Right? And she'll fade from the public consciousness into the obscurity she so richly deserves?

Right?

In 1989 Brenda started a prison support group for abused women called Convicted Women Against Abuse (CWAA) - the group has worked on gaining clemency for 20 (to date) DV victims and recently helped (along w/Olivia) to get legislation passed that expanded Battered Woman’s Syndrome legally.

Maybe an actual DV victim will "have a word" with Jodi in prison.

Am I missing the court stamp on this paperwork? I don't see the stamp showing time, date verifying the court received it....

I wish I could find the other hand written paper work she submitted to the court to compare the printing. She prints her name....never signs it?

anyone have any input on this? Thanks

She was caught trying to sell "tracings" that she copied from some magazines and things during the trial. She ain't no Rembrandt or Van Gogh...
Indeed. What strikes me most about her "work" when I see an image of it somewhere is how utterly, shamelessly juvenile it is, both in technique and subject matter. If she were 12 it might be commendable, but she's an adult. Officially at least. Intellectually she comes across as just being stunted.

The other one was dated 8/13/2014 if that helps you find your copy. It shows the court stamp and also the case name and # added to the top. It does show her 'signature' in print though. It does seem to me that if the copy that Keifer printed came from the clerk's office, it would have had that stamp and case #, doesn't it?
eta: Checked other media posting this and see Troy Hayden and JVM posted the same one without the stamp, etc.

Zoey, the VA usually has a van service to pick up vets for appointments. I do not know how it works, but call and information should set you to the correct office.

Also....your husband can get travel pay to and from if you drive your own car....or someone drives you. Again call and see information and see how to get that.

He will get a VA ID card....

Seattle VA might have an information center on the web or call one of the vet organizations, like American Legion or VFW, etc. at the VA to get info. I know there is paperwork someone gives you and the. You go to their travel office for the pay.

Also know all VA's have a canteen, or mini PX/BX, where they sell clothes, cards, snacks, books, some items TV's or mixers, like around the holidays etc. It depends on the size of the VA. it is open to all that go there..... there also is a cafeteria where you can eat a meal.

Take a book or something to do...sometimes there is a lot of waiting time....maybe a bottle of water too.

I sent you a PM....thought of something

I will look....I am not a real good document detective....but you gave me some info.

The missing court stamp just hit me...it is so big ...

Thanks

Her handwritten motion to have Nurmi thrown off the case wasn't stamped either. The stamp was on a printed cover page.

Presumably it's the same in this case, and the printed/stamped cover page has simply been deemed too boring for Twitter, etc.

There was also wide speculation that the motion to have Nurmi taken off the case was leaked to Michael Kiefer, due to the lack of a stamp. Perhaps something similar here.

Thank you LinTx, MeeBee, cindymac, for all the info. I forgot totally about the cover page and the court stamp being on that page. Did find one handwritten document....it was a lot neater writing then this one. She may have been given a short time to have a pen and paper in her hand, to write this and submit it. I would assume that someone from her team had to meet with her to get this filed right away.

I just don't trust her one bit. Thanks again...

Let's hope they hitch their wagon to Janay Rice instead...

This handwritten page dated 9/8 is attached to the computer generated motion submitted to the court today by Jennifer Wilmott. So JA decided Monday to reinstate her attorneys...
