Interesting one of the mitigators is her remorse. That's new and I remember the defense arguing she won't be showing remorse. Wonder what changed? Perhaps they realized it's a bad idea. Jodi is really gonna have to grit her teeth through that one.

I am not sure it will be possible for her to show remorse. Even if it is an act, like her testimony was, I cannot see her pulling it off. If she were to apologize profusely for murdering Travis, and cry through it, I do not think she would be believed. Because IMO, she would have to qualify it. She will never just say she is sorry for what she did. She will have to add that she had to do it. She said in her post-verdict interview that she would kill again if she were forced to--she was basically saying she was forced to this time.

She cannot let go of her lie. She cannot repent.

Mitigation that are added:

3. Ms arias is remorseful for her conduct.

5. Ms. Arias has suffered both physical and emotional abuse during her relationship with Mr. Alexander.

6. The abusive nature of the relationship caused Ms. Arias to suffer extreme emotional stress at the time of the incident. (why can't they say what it was- a killing)

7. Ms. Arias has been diagnosed with PTSD.

8. Ms. arias has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.

9. Ms. Arias' psychological makeup impaired her ability to cope with the tumultuous realtionship she had with Mr. Alexander.

Old mitigation:

(only 1st 2 [ and 5th] were kept- the rest dumped- they were stupid, IMO, anyway)

I thought she could not remember the incident.

However, he was acquitted Wednesday when the jury mistakenly signed a not-guilty form, reports the Fresno Bee...

OMG can you imagine if this had happened in this case? This is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Crazy stuff happens in this trial too… I wonder what can go wrong with JA's trial….

What is supposed to go on tomorrow? Anything? I really hate not being able to see with my own eyes what is going on. I hate relying on stupid "tweets". I'm not a bird. I don't trust being able to get a real feel for this without actually seeing and hearing it for myself. So much goes on with looks and glances and nuances of the spoken word. This is very frustrating and just plain wrong. I wish the newspeople's lawyer could get the decision for no cameras reversed. Take it to the Supreme Court or something!

I googled Mrs. Flores and Jodi Arias and it brought me to, (warning) the JAII site which has a link to that video. The comments under the video are wacky. Truly unstable people there and a mention of a SW who ever she may be.

I read on the Facebook page that there will only be ONE camera at the back of the room during trial? So we won't get to see Juan's face? I don't care to watch Arias but I would like to see Juan properly even if it's post-trial! :tantrum:

Don't know where Janice Beaver has been....Jodi got a fair trial! All they have to do is decide her punishment. Jurors, shut up. Sit down. Decide.

Nore , 490 troops from Fort Bliss here in Texas are heading to Liberia, and I think Obama said he'll send 3000 to help. I wonder how many will come back or carry it back home.

But we still have other disease coming over our borders and coastlines, and we need help here at home.

I saw a something I never thought I'd see here in Dallas, more what I've seen in going south to all the way to Brownsville Tx. A woman with two small children and a sign, " help for a mother and her two children". She sure could spell well for not speaking the language. My sister is a manager for one of our ISD's and they've been told shortages are coming, to order now or figure out how to feed the students.

So, people, if you can, build a pantry now. Buy beans and rice dry and in bulk, or beans in cans and instant rice, instant oatmeal, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, packets of mashed potatoes, san ramen, cans of chili and soup and, pasta, these can be eaten cold if needed. Cans of tuna and chicken, vegetables, tomatoes etc. You don't have to rush out and buy it all. Just add a few thing to your grocery basket each week.


Hard times are coming to America, much worse that what is now. We need a miracle, We need to get on our knees.

Hi Pages, things are indeed going to get bad here. America has never faced these problems. Most won't prepare. We were once a great country. Our politicians have polluted our land, dumbed down our kids, let drugs be rampant. Would anyone be able to stand? Not discussed much here or anywhere else. I pray for everyone, all the time.

I really just want her to go away. I think most do which is why a lot of people so upset the original jury didnt finish their job. Make a stinking decision for goodness sakes so this evil person can go away and get out of our hair. LOL

So the Killer is finally remorseful. It only took 6 years. If the relationship was so bad, why didn't she keep her rear end in California?

I guess she has finally realized that she is going to prison for a very long time.
