Two things.
i am not invested in her death. Just hell on earth while she lives. That said,
1). The DP would ensure she is alone in a cell 23 out of 24 hours every day and no contact with others.
2). Life for Jodi is not what it would be for us. We shudder to think of life in prison. Jodi's a Psycopath. After a few bumps and scrapes, she will have a following in prison. She will adjust. For a psychopath who easily manipulates in a world of people just like her, it will be a cake walk.

BBM I agree with you Curious and eventually she will adapt. :(

Maybe someone will "rough" her up in prison (from one of those other gangs- the top gang) eventually and take her down a peg or 2 or 50 and bring her down to the floor where she belongs? (I can only hope)

It amazes me how JA treats everything as 1 big game.
She really does have the "Us against Them" mentality on everything.

JA enemies include
-the Alexander family
-the Prosecution team
-the jail officials
-the public who are not her "friends"
-and soon to be her new enemy will be the officials at the new prison

That note she wrote in court is amazing to help us understand just how whackadoo she really is. She writes it like she is in grade school. And I just had to laugh at her use of "ith". WTH?

She writes it like you are my "bestith" BFF in the whole wide world. And by the way be sure to leave your gratuity in the pot. It sounds to me like he may have a lot of money from that note.

"Jodith" needs to come back down to earth and live in the real world. Sheriff Joe took steps to help her. So glad he put a stop to the nonsense.
It really got out of hand.

Im still a little disappointed the Sheriff did not crack down on her much sooner. Its been going on for a long long time. Imagine if every phone call and piece of communication could be analyzed going back to the first trial.
Im willing to be there are some real doozies in that pile.

At least all of the nonsense has stopped now and for that we are grateful. This will force "Jodith" to think by herself and just maybe she will begin to realize this is the beginning of the end.

She will have a long lonely existence and some long lonely days ahead. She will finally be forced to think about what she did that caused her to be in her situation.

Some day she may finally come to terms that it was her own choice that caused her situation. It may take a couple more years in a lonely prison cell without all the current hoopla. She will never admit it publicly but I do think some day she will finally realize it was her own choice that caused her situation. She has nobody to blame but herself.
The public will never hear her admission but the hope is deep down somewhere in "Jodith Land" she will realize it was all her and always has been.

Until after millions and millions of tax payer dollars win her a new trial, or commutation LWP. As just as her living conditions may be with a DP conviction, it also gives her a far greater chance of parole or a new trial with a conviction of a lesser charge, and therefore parole. Like it or not, those chances actually exist with a DP conviction and they practically don't with LWOP. So, I respect your opinion, but those are the things I can't ignore.

BBM A lesser charge? I don't think so, IMO. Travis' murder was both premeditated and heinous. This was't a "passion" murder- "heat of the moment" thing, or "self-defense"
There was too much evidence for premeditation, IMO.

BBM: No, it wasn't me, I'm still holding out and giving JSS the benefit of a doubt. I'm just hoping there was a "method to her madness", whether it was future appellate issues, not enough solid info on J17, I'm still waffling.
It really got to the point where JSS was more like the playground monitor, Juan's playing dodge ball, Wilmont's always getting smacked and starts whining, while Nurmi's under a tree eating his moonpie and picking his nose, occasionally saying it's his ball and he wants to go home. I'm surprised she didn't have a whistle, or just pull a big ol' damn gun from under her robe and shoot one off in the air.

BBM I do think there was something about why she couldn't get rid of juror 17- I read it somewhere , but I'm all :scared: right now and can't find it.
That's the only thing that I fault her on- getting rid of juror 17, but I think her hands were tied by laws and thingys.

There's claims out there that he's CMJA's "boyfriend". :floorlaugh:.......ok, the whole boyfriend/convicted felon has me snorting coffee, guess he doesn't have to worry about her checking his cell phone, email, or stalking him on dates! LOL!

Just one of the sharks that are circling her, trying to find some money they can scam her out of........

..........It's those darn thingys...........bawahahaha!!!

But, but... he's "in love" (probably with her kind of sex, IMO) :hills:

I'm going to make some soup, so I'll see y'all later (if I don't fall asleep  ).
My head is in the fog anyway as it is. :scared:

No conjugal's at Perryville, so sad, too bad. I guess he can just "google" his dream girl when he wants to see her naughty bits. How convenient is THAT?!?!?! And since her pics are on the Web, she MUST be "special"?

*special kind of stupid*

I'm still feeling sick (it's just a cold :( )

I was shopping and the cashier had one of those paper mask thingys over her nose and mouth.
I thought she was probably worried about germs from all the customers, but maybe she was sick?
And now I'm sick. :( I feel achy and fuzzy, drippy nose, throat sore, and runny eyes- feel as if someone beat me. Rest is what I need. :offtobed:
and that's what I've been doing.
I'll be fine in a couple of days.
Meanwhile, I rest, so don't worry about me.
Thanks for all your concern. :blowkiss:

Please be careful....I started out with the same thing and it turned into a sinus infection. This is going on week 3. I am on Levofloxin, I think I spelled it right. One of two antibiotics my body does not react to. So, please be careful....get well. You are very important to all of us at WS.

Try simply saline or a netty pot. I swear by them. Start your soup on the stove, envelop yourself in the aroma, put on some sweats and get nice and cozy and rest up.

My cousin real sick~~when she finally went to doctor it was pneumonia --- take fare

In addition, a background check on her would not have revealed this information since she is not the one with the record.

Background checks reveal all kinds of things. It would have records of her first marriage, husband's name and since she did mention he had a criminal record, that might be investigated further. Someone might decide to pull any transcripts if available to see if she testified on his behalf - what she said. They can discover if a person is either litigious or the defendant in civil case, what and who they involved. That gives further insight.

I know we see it in the movies, but do those mythical creatures such as jury investigators exist in real life? Holy cow - the movie Runaway Jury was awesome for this!! I mean in real life, maybe not as elaborate or manipulative as what was in the movie, but something similar as far as knowing who's friend or foe and why.

Curious, I can't find it on twitter now. Not that particular letter....I wonder if that screen shot was taken down for some reason?

I am off to investigate. I can't remember who tweeted it ! I will look

It was taken down because it was considered rumor. Sorry.

There are jury consultants and they can make a ton of money. In the OJ case, the trial was won with the selection of the jury. Jury consultant was Jo-Ellan Dimitrius. She made over $500k+ on that one case (and that was in 1995 dollars). They do investigations among other things. Here's the initial list of what Dimitrius' firm says they do:

  • Community Attitude Surveys (Phone and Internet)
  • Change of Venue Surveys
  • Mock Trials
  • Juror Profiling
  • In-Court Jury Selection
  • Opening & Closing Argument Analysis
  • Post-Verdict Interviews
  • Voir Dire Questions
  • Witness Preparation
  • Trial Monitoring
  • Graphic Services
…as well as a myriad of other services. Dimitrius & Associates is unsurpassed in its exhaustive analyses and trial support. Our trial consultants are second to none for their ability to pick the right juries to win cases.

just wish we could see it happen. I know I know...sounds mean. But seriously
