Barbara McClure went missing November 2, 1978 while walking home from Fandango Disco in Lake Forest Park, Washington. The only evidence that was found was her license 5 days later about 5 miles away in the vicinity of I5-I405. She was a single parent of a 2 year old daughter and divorcee. Her father, Ray Anderson was a well known builder in the Edmonds area, and one of the founding members of Westgate Chapel. She worked at the Olympia Hotel in Seattle and lived in a home in Lake Forest Park. She was eventually declared dead, but no body was ever found or any trace of violence in her home or on the way home from Fandango's. Her daughter, Jamey McClure Stupey, is trying to find answers but is getting stonewalled by the police who continue to say the case is open and can't show her anything, although it looks like a very minimal investigation took place.
