Curious! Your pain pills make you itch? Not good. Call your doctor, let him know about the itching and see if you can gets different medication please! See if he would recommend Benadryl for the itching. I am concerned you may be allergic to the pain med or the fillers contained therein. Anaphylaxis can occur which would not be good. Please take good care. Ice is your friend and put a pillow under your knees (Williams position) when you lay down. Hopefully the ice can cause the nerves to calm down.

I'll be 66 this Summer- it's a great age, IMO- not really decrepit yet for a nursing home, but not as spry as I use to be. Guess it depends on the health and the situation.

I have been taking Celebrex for the last... hmmm... 10 years, maybe?! I have osteoarthritis in both my hips - now only left, as I got new right hip and in my neck. I was hoping after the first hip surgery I wouldn't have to take them, but then my left hip acted up and will take it until I have the other surgery - probably in October; then will try and get off of them. But they sure have helped me with the pain!

And I'll be 68 in August... WOW! where have the years gone... :waitasec: but as it's all in the head - you're as young as you feel! I'm still a hippie at heart!

BBM #1 I know just what you mean. Some people will surround themselves with other people or just fill their days with activity just to avoid being alone with themselves. A pity. IMO.

BBM #2 You're doing great with your vocabulary , IMO- English is sometimes a very difficult language (so many crazy rules :facepalm.

Tell me about it! English is my third language to learn! First was Latvian, second was Swedish, as we had a Swedish nanny and lived in Sweden; and then came to this country, and had to learn English! You're right about those crazy rules!

I like the way your mind works! For me- my parents were living in Butte, Montana - from what my mother has told me - way back in the day it could snow into late June in Montana - maybe they had a balmy July or August?! Maybe I'll ask her?! Naw...probably not...

Thanks! My spine is fried. I believe I'll be off to a spine center once the doc gets the MRI results. The Xrays looked pretty bad, and my spine was so twisted that they needed MRIs to assess other damage. :notgood:
