First off I hope you have heat by now Josie. It's cold here too, especially for
the Spring. Now~ i think I am having backlash from the CA. trial. I keep getting qualms that she may get off, or a minor sentence. Irregardles of my likes or dislikes for jodie it is the crime that scares me. Such a vicious murder
that the thought of her ever being free scares the ch*t out of me. I woulld go so far as to say she would repeat before kc would. I know I know those are tough words but thinking it over i cant help it. These are two separate cases with separate reasons. I dont know if I will be able to watch the day the verdict comes in~I'm not over Caylee yet Bless her little heart. I am well satisfied with JM. but it sometimes seems crooked wins. Please pray I am wrong!! :please: :seeya:

Okay, so I have another show tune to share. I'm picturing the jury entering the courtroom on verdict day, high-stepping and carrying those little "GUILTY" cards from HLN's lame show.

So, with sincere apologies to Jerry Herman, here's my little version of "Hello Dolly":

We say HELL NO!, Jodi... AW HELL NO!, Jodi
It's so nice that you're in jail where you belong
You're looking pale, Jodi... you're in jail, Jodi
You're still lying, you'll be dying, you won't be living long
You'll feel the room swaying... while the nurse is displaying
That big needle filled with poison... don't know when, so...
That's a wrap, Jodi, time to take a nice long nap, Jodi
Jodi you'll never live to kill again!

(dear Mods, if this is too mean I won't be insulted if you remove it)
Viv, I love your parody!
I can picture the final scene now:
She's strapped to the table, the needle is inserted, and a voice says,
"Just smile and say cheese...."

I was super bored after this disappointment of a day today, so I decided to make (bad) side by side graphics of who I would choose for the cast :) Not done yet, though! I still have plans for more people to cast (Mike the court reporter, Dr. Horn, Katiecoolady....)

I tried not to blow the margins so let me know if I need to tweak!
.

Great job there Central Casting. :great:

Thanks!

This trial is making me crazy so in order to maintain balance my mind goes to the absurd....

.... of course, I would NEVER mock Travis but I feel it's open season on Missy Arias, so I may come up with something else.

Stay tuned!

Now it's Carly Simon's turn with my version of "You're So Vain":

You walked into the courtroom
Like you were walking onto a stage
Your hair strategically hanging in your face
As though you were half your age
You had one eye on the jury
As you hid behind your rage
But they thought "Boy is she guilty! MAN is she guilty!" and

You're so lame
You probably think this trial is about you
You're so lame
We bet you think this trial is about you
Don't you, don't you

You stalked your boyfriends years ago
Pretending that you were naive
Well, you said that they all were cheating on you
And that's why you had to leave
But you made them all so miserable
That they all had to flee
You had bad blood in your frappe, strawberry frappe and

You're so lame
You probably think this trial is about you
You're so lame
We guess you think this trial is about you
Don't you, don't you

Well, we heard you went down to Arizona
And eventually went on the run
Then you drove all the way back up to Yreka
Where you most likely disposed of the gun
Well you're where you should be - in a jail
And when your time is up
We'll all chant "Give her the needle, give her the needle" and

You're so lame
You probably think this trial is about you
You're so lame
We bet you think this trial is about you
Don't you, don't you

(this is sick - I'm thinking of song lyrics while I'm walking my dog - HELP!)

Ryan Gosling!!!! LOVE him!

Google WWE the Miz, he's perfect to play Travis Alexander because he resembles him and since TA was into MMA and wrestling it would be cool. Miz seems like he could pull off TA's personality and fits Lifetime's budget. Rob Lowe must be in this movie, so I say cast him as Juan Martinez. He can make himself look the part with hair dye and glasses and can pull it off. For JA, I would say this actress who plays Britt on General Hospital or the actress who plays Steffi on Bold and the Beautiful. They both can pull off evil, but charismatic- which is needed for a movie. I'd almost say Micheal Easton for Det Flores, but I don't know.

Love it! Thank you!

Love it! Thank you!

Thanks, PASA - glad you liked it!

I have a couple more songs marinating in my brain - went to a supermarket yesterday that has a terrific "soundtrack" so I got inspired in the frozen food section. Gonna go walk the dog and see if it comes together.

(I hope no one is offended by my doing this - just blowing off steam)

Anyone remember the Dancing Itos? Well, picture this (tm Sophia Petrillo):

The Solid Golddiggers Dancers are adorned in lame and spandex, writhing on their pedestals to my version of "Gloria" by Laura Branigan [RIP]....

Arias, you're really going down now
Going down for a murder
You'll pay for it now, somehow
You're really going downtown
You're really gonna blow it
I think you're headed for a breakdown
But you'll be careful not to show it

You really DO remember
Where you hid the knife and gun
Do you really think you've won?
Guilty Arias!

Arias, don't you know you're falling?
If you are so darned innocent
Why is your shrink still stalling?
You don't give true answers
Keep on telling all those lies
Oh-oh, Guilty Arias!

Arias (Arias)
The jury's got your number (Arias)
I think they see delusion (Arias)
That you've been living under (Arias)
But you really DO remember
Where you put the knife and gun
Do you really think you've won?
Guilty Arias!

A HA HA, A HA HA, Arias
How you gonna go down?
Will you get the needle mainline?
Or will the "Real Hot Chair" be turned on?
Will you ask for forgiveness?
Or still sing the same old tune?
Feel your evilness slipping away
Don't predict it's coming back soon

And you really DO remember
Where you hid the knife and gun
Do you really think you've won?
Guilty Arias!

The Miz! Definitely!! I revoke my Ryan Gosling casting choice and put The Miz in his place :)

Here's a song for all the HLN junkies out there...

My version of Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs' "Wooly Bully" (I added an extra verse so if you're following it with the music in your mind, it's messed up):

Uno, dos
One, two, tres, quatro!

Hey! Jinkasaurus! Watch HLN! Watch us! Hey Drew, Hey Drew!
Watch HLN After Dark!

Jean C. asked Joey about a fact of law
The evidence everybody saw
JINKASAURUS! Jinkasaurus
Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus

Mike B. told Jean C.: "You're such a Jodi fan,
If you want the lowdown, ask Vinny Politan."
JINKASAURUS! Jinkasaurus
Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus

Watch After Dark! Watch us! Hey, watch us!

(Bill Clinton sax solo)

Karas told Jean C.: "You have a slanted view.
Jodi's got you snookered, pulled the wool on you."
JINKASAURUS! Jinkasaurus
Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus

Mark E. told Jean C.: "Tonight on Nancy Grace,
Everyone will notice, your swift about-face."
JINKASAURUS! Jinkasaurus
Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus, Jinkasaurus

Watch HLN, watch us! Hey Drew!
You watch us! You watch us!

Ladies and gentlemen of the Sidebar, we are faced with an important task tonight... and that is, creating the Juantini cocktail.

This beverage must celebrate JM's love & support for TA's family, as well as his intelligence, patience, tenacity and conviction... and yeah, that little sizzle that he employs at pertinent moments.

This beverage must satisfy both tireless courtwatchers, and also provide relief & reflection for witnesses who have been confronted with the question: "Do you have a problem with your memory???"

Some options have been proposed... chocolate martini with a chili pepper flair? Lemon drop? Straight moonshine? So let's settle this. Please discuss.

extra dirty martini made with black pepper vodka. lots of olives!
