Possibly someone misinterpreted "custody" as in "community supervision" i.e. probation, to mean (incorrectly) "custody" as in incarceration?

Just guessing.
You're probably right. If she was taken into custody there would be no reason NOT to disclose the jail. I mean there's privilege and then there's the common criminal.

George messed up big time being in the murderer's court in the beginning. By the time George realized Caylee was worth much much more than Casey could ever be, it was too late to be of much benefit to the victim Caylee, because his testimony at trial was restrained by what he had said under oath long before the trial started. If he strayed from what he had initially testified to, his testimony would be impeached.

I can understand the legal reason behind that, for the most part. What I don't get is this: If a person makes a statement in a deposition or other situation under oath on a day in 2008 for example...then the start of the trial is delayed over and over to, let's say 2011...why are their statements from two or three years earlier written in granite? In many cases new evidence might come available or a person may remember important info that had slipped their mind initially. As is, it sounds like anything a person says or does can be used against them even if they are not a suspected perp. It sounds to me like one is not allowed to change their mind even in the face of new facts that might shed a different light on any given situation. JMO, IMO, and all that...

Yes, I understand what you are saying and agree - and yet I hear over and over again that GA turned his back on Caylee and supported FCA. When he said he would do anything for FCA - he wasn't asked if he had a choice what would he do - it was a whole different line of questioning and yet he has been nailed for it over and over. The context I understood him to say it in was meaning more - I would do anything I could so this (murder by my daughter) wasn't true. I did not "hear" him say he would do whatever cover up he could to protect her. I think he was heartbroken at the loss of Caylee and heartbroken his daughter was a murderer.

What the heck does that mean???!! Wouldn't it just say "in custody"? I thought she's been wiped from all databases.

LG - I know you believe what you do about George. While I truly believe he loved Caylee and had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH HER DEATH or the disposal of her body, I sincerely believe that he, somewhere along the way inbetween his Grand Jury testimony and his testimony at trial, lost his compass. I think by that time, it was lose his daughter to the death penalty and he did what he had to do. It was all contrived testimony by that family. Blatantly so. All just MOO.

This is the point - BBM - that I get confused. I sincerely do not understand what posters think he did when you say - he did what he had to do.

I watched him during the hearings and the court testimony. I didn't see anything he did that suggested support for FCA....:waitasec:

And I say this with respect - not trying to start a scrap.
Now CA? Whole different story...

I think KC was extremely mad at George after he testified for the Grand Jury that lead to her being arrested for murder. After that happened all communication was cut off from her parents. Instead of Lee being the one who molested her it switched to George.

Does anyone know if the cell phone pings were available to the jury?

No they were not because forensic cell tracker specialists disagree on whether or not they are accurate.

Vineline appears to be all screwed up.

When someone is on probation, it would state "Community Supervision".

I think you could always read under Vinelink that Casey was under "Community Supervision" but you couldn't get anymore information.

ETA

Actually, when I received an email this morning telling me the person I was regeristed for to receive information was no longer under Community Supervision. I thought, well this is strange, how the heck and I suppose to know who this person is. I never gave it another thought until I read Casey was no longer under Supervision.

Hey maybe FCA or one of her friends has managed to hack the DOC Vinelink..:waitasec:

Vinelink is changing by the minute. They went from "in custody" to "Community Supervision". Someone must be bored!

Anyone know the story behind the latest (and scandalous!) "customer image" for our favorite doorstop? :what:

Now here's a woman the press had forgotten what with Penn State, Zimmerman, the terrible theater shootings and then the Twilight fans ranting about infidelities - guess she found a way to bring her name back in the news....:waitasec:

Now it's saying "Registration for notification is not currently available for this offender". They must of been flooded with notification requests.

For sure, she can't stand NOT to be the center of attention, good OR bad!

:sick::sick::sick:
lol

Are we going to start a betting pool on how long it will take her to reoffend?
:jail:
(j/k)

18 months. But I am a kind and forgiving soul. ;)

Prolly more like 6 months for knocking off a CircleK for Cheetos and Ding Dongs.

Nah, nobody, including Baez, knows what GA testified to for the Grand Jury.
Baez cut of all communications that were visible in the media, such as telephone calls and jail visits.
Baez wanted it to look as if KC was mad at her dad.
There was a reason for that, we now know the reason.

We can't even begin know who many letters went back and forward between KC and her parents, delivered by Baez himself.
How many conversations Baez had with Ant's and then related them to KC, we'll never know.

BBM Is this true? Wasn't he able to get transcripts of the Grand Jury testimony? I'm in RI, and when I worked for a defense attorney, we were able to get transcripts of the Grand Jury testimony.
It may not have been released to the public, but didn't OCA's team get it? I would think so :waitasec:

lmao I would wager not long! A (IMO) conscienceless individual who has beaten the system is the most likely to do something ridiculously dumb! I personally see the felon as one of "America's dumbest criminals" and think she has a long career of buffoonery ahead of her :rocker:

I just hope it doesn't cost anyone else their life. :please:
