Who would have thought that we would be back to reading docs again , because we can't trust what an attorney is stating in his book.

Heck - we don't need to pull out any docs here. Just sit down & watch a dozen or so episodes of South Park.:banghead:
OHHHH that jury:what:

This twitter stuff is fun! I am having fun with a Casey supporter right now. The person tried to sell me a bunch of lies... all based on Jose's book?? Geesh, I've linked the person to all kinds of documents but they keep going back to Jose's book, as if that was evidence?

ETA: They tried to sell me the George looked up suicide, etc... after he had left for work (only found in Jose's book). No records! No proof! LIES!

Speaking of jurors, it sounds like Mr Forman is your man on twitter.:maddening:

It's just another one of Baez' cheap, childish digs, this time towards Judge Perry & Judge Strickland.

In case you weren't aware, Judges have to become an Attorney first, before they are ever elected/appointed to Judgeship. Baez' inference is that HE, himself, is of course smarter and more trustworthy :what: than the presiding Judges in this case, yet wasn't nearly as trusted as were both the Judges - "just because they donned a black robe" and Baez didn't.

I have news for him, he DID don a black robe of the worst kind. A black robe of death via murder, cheating, lying, and in the interim, robbing an innocent, murdered baby of her right to Justice.

EXACTLY. Guess JB doesn't aspire to wear the robe one day - if so, that bridge is :python:

Oh the bright side, with a lot of luck he might earn enough on his 'book' to buy one. I suggest: How To Win Friends And Influence People.

Is it possible that he actually believes all this? Seeing him on shows he almost seems proud of this book. To quote Mr. Baez, "Something's not right here."

Hey JB :seeya: if you or your minions are reading here, THE BOOK IS DRECK.

Boy what kind of magic does she to these people that everything becomes everyone else fault? I mean they justify everything that she has done wrong. If she is mentally ill like JB said, than he is just contributing to it.

It's none of these things. KC is not mentally ill, she's a liar, always has been, always will be, for what ever reason, but not for the reasons Baez is giving.

This book has NOTHING to do with KC, but everything to do with Baez. IMO.

Baez through out the book tells a story of being the under dog, how hard he had to fight and over come all the injustice that was done to him, to become a member of the bar, over and over again, it's awaysl someone else's fault. never his.

So, here he is, a rookie defense attorney, defending the most hated woman in he world, and guess what?
He WON!
In the end he lost, and that's what he's fighting for in his book, in other words he wants some respect.

He lost because nobody shows him any respect, because he does not deserve it, but he does not see that.
He lost because KC is the most hated woman in the world.
He thought after winning the biggest case since the OJ trial he would get some respect from the legal community, he got nothing.....
Like he got nothing before trial, no lawyer came up to him to offer help.

By writing this book, he's fighting for what he thinks is right.

He lies and lies all through out the book, to justify his actions to get his recognition that he feels he deserves.

If there was such a creature as a KC supporter whose theories incorporated the totality of the evidence, I am sure people who are interested in truth and justice would give full consideration to what they have to say. But so far they never do, which is why it seems it's impossible for anyone to look at all the evidence and conclude innocence. This is also why such a high percentage of her supporters end up being dismissed as trolls; there is such disingenuousness, such an aura of bad faith attached to their selective claims. These attempts to manipulate the truth and gaslight the public are verbally and emotionally abusive.

There is a flower girl over on Amazon trashing up the threads and actually saying that GA removed the hyoid and pelvic bones............ ugggggggggh, seriously - this is the best they got???? (Note to self: Go out to yard and remove all lily plants as they will never look the same again!) LOL

If you are really bored, google this to see the new hangout spot.

"Our objective is the conviction of George Anthony for the Murder of Caylee Anthony on June 16th 2008. "

I potted a bunch of lavenders in my garden. Next year I may plant some lilys.

so many of them make no sense.. Im reading the latest 5 star reviews on amazon. I find it bizzare how they can say the book proves to them all jb;s theories.. ... calling him honest and humble.... my gawd lol/

i was gonna leave comments on their reviews but im speechless..
:what: :waitasec:

WS has always been a place of refuge for me. After the disturbing verdict, I had to leave this place for awhile. Part of it was because I was heartsick. The other part was because this site was flooded with trolls.

Now here we are again. Why? Where can I go that I don't have to read the...well you know.

And...why do you suppose they are back again?

fear not Pattie - I just checked in on my phone when I read your post at the top of the page. And then scrambled to the big machine.

You know, the thread and search tools on this site are an awesome thing - real quick you can find out just exactly what's up!

I'd call it a drive by - done other places on this site, in even more incendiary terms sometimes - it does remind me of someone - but I cannot put my finger on it - dates are funny too... Best bet, no sense in responding (found one post and 10 "quote" replies)... Lots of media ballyhoo with the books and whatnot - stirring things up

... they get paid to do that, you know... Many times the house or those that stand to benefit employ pros (lightly applied term) to hype the reviews - never read the 5 stars

Most of them are probably law students, his friends and family with multiple accounts. I would hate to study under him.

To add to your post…

At the end of the day, he and the Felon are “Still Liars.” His book is still a book of their lies. Respect is earned Jose; you and your Felon KC will never have enough of anything to gain respect from me. AJMO

Baez is such a liar, he wrote that during the jail conversation between KC and her parents, Cindy said: "the media is saying that Caylee drowned in the pool", and that KC said "oh well, oh well"

Then he wrote that later the media said to George: "what do you think of this new theory that Caylee might have died by accident". "It struck a chord with George, he blew up at the reporter and yelled: "shut up.....shut up"

Baez is rewriting history here, KC said: "surprise surprise" to her mother.

And if I remember correctly the media was asking George about a body in the trunk, not that Caylee might have died by accident.

Correct?

Were you listening to the same trial? Baez did not rewrite history. She did say surprise, surprise. It's on this tape.
It's right after the 2:15 mark. Cindy says the thing about Caylee drowning and Casey does say: Surprise, surprise.

O/T but I had to share. I am sitting in a hospital room with my dh waiting for them to remove his appendix. I'm reading here trying to pass the time waiting for platelets to arrive. You see, he had a stent placed over a yr ago for heart disease and another one two months ago. He is on medication to stop platelets from clogging the stents. This is a problem now though because he must have surgery right away and they are concerned about bleeding. Thanks to all of you for giving me some good thought provoking material to keep my mind active instead of sitting here worrying.

:blowkiss: :grouphug: I hope he's doing all right now :loveyou:

I think this is misunderstood...the other poster said Baez wrote "Oh, well...oh well".

You are depending on the claims of the people who would be next on the suspect list if she did leave Caylee behind, so obviously their testimoney cannot be relied on.

Caylee's body was found in the vicinity of the home, all the items found with the body came from the home. The implication is that Caylee never left the home and likely died there. So, if people are saying that Casey left with Caylee, and they also happen to be the next people on the suspect list, don't you think that perhaps they might not be truthful?

Then you have to look at Caseys behaviour after she left. She behaved like someone who believed that her child was safe with the grandparents. If that is not the case, then, according to the scenario you have laid out, we would have to believe that she is some sort of deranged psychopath that was the model of a loving mother, then, spontaneously and for no reason, killed her daughter as she was driving off and behaved like nothing happened, when it would have been much simpler to just leave the kid with the grandparents. Moreover, you would have to believe that in the absence of any evidence to corroborate that.

I don't believe all that for one moment. I believe that she left her child in the care of the grandparents, something happened, and the stuff afterwards was the family circling the wagons to protect one of their own, and that one was NOT Casey.

There is actually nothing at all connecting Casey to Caylee's death other than the ever changing accounts of her parents.

This is the red letter item for me. It is what convinces me that Casey is not responsible for Caylee's death, there is a far more likely explanation of what happened that fits the known facts. Most of the people I know who followed the trial (who are not WSers btw) have similar questions. That is why the jury acquited her.

If you think about it, and are honest with yourself, that explanation makes the family's behaviour before and after the trial make a whole lot more sense
.

The issue with Casey is that people have this romantic idea about motherhood and what they expect in terms of behaviour. But in real life people often do not behave like that. Casey is without question one of those people. That, coupled with (in my opinion) an attempt to help cover what actually happened, is what got her into trouble. And once the image as a child killer has grasped the public mind, feuled by conviction in the media, it is incredibly hard to let that go. Once that happened a trial with the direst of consequences became inevitable, no politician would dare resist that, even once it became clear that the evidence simply was not there.

I remember seeing lawyers on CNN (Toobin I think, who is a former prosecutor) thinking that the case was overcharged. You can see their comments on the video clip here.

several bbm :sigh:

body in the trunk: Cindy

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: George and Cindy Anthony made it clear they were in no mood for questions before their video visitation with their daughter, Casey. But when a question was asked about a detective`s theory 2-year-old Caylee may not be alive, George Anthony lashed out.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!

I just seen that you beat me to the answer. I posted up the video after her noor's comment then scrolled down and read yours. Sorry, I should have caught up before replying. Thank you for posting it up.
