Were you listening to the same trial? Baez did not rewrite history. She did say surprise, surprise. It's on this tape.
It's right after the 2:15 mark. Cindy says the thing about Caylee drowning and Casey does say: Surprise, surprise.
http://youtu.be/z3xJi0Lu_fc

Baez wrote in his book that KC said: Oh well Oh well.

But she said: Surprise Surprise....

As we all know.
It's just an other spin.
Baez wrote this on purpose.

WS has always been a place of refuge for me. After the disturbing verdict, I had to leave this place for awhile. Part of it was because I was heartsick. The other part was because this site was flooded with trolls.

Now here we are again. Why? Where can I go that I don't have to read the...well you know.

And...why do you suppose they are back again?

Pattymarie, I don't think there is anywhere on the web that you can truely have piece of mind. Just know in your heart that there are more people than we can count that believe that CFCA murdered Caylee than there are who believe she didn't. IMO if folks would just take the time to read the legal documents instead of books about the case they would see what we see.

I found George's state depo and around page 199 George talks about June 24th the day he found the gas cans missing, made police report, met up with Cindy at the bank to cash the stimulus check, went back home to get ready for a job interview (it was the company he went to for and was working the night Cindy called 911) and Casey came in and that was the fr%%ng gas can incident. I'm still looking for the statement George made about Cindy calling him during the interview and asked about the ladder. I remember because it struck me as odd answering call during a job interview.

Didn't GA say the person in the trunk is not my granddaughter? Something like that.

I recall GA in his driveway saying that wasn't my daughter in the trunk. He was quite upset and I always thought he misspoke and meant his granddaughter.

thankkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk you so much.. You made me smile.. which is hard for me today with all the BS in this book lol..

The one I cant get out of my mind is the text message to T.L. from KC. " If they ever find her body, guess who will spend eternity in jail?"That was in black and white but never brought out in court! :what:

As I take my :offtobed: I checked in on the ratings......... LOL down again!

Those copies sold to the media to do their reporting really had some so excited that they would be rich, but it seems the :rollercoaster:is almost over!

Nights all - don't count sheep, count falling books -- it is really way more fun to count!

OK, I'm out from lurking here for a moment. JB book and interviews are driving me crazy....the lies! He keeps talking about her mental issues but what about this?

Harry Krop the forensic psychologist who did an in-depth evaluation on Casey Marie Anthony spending over 20 hours evaluating her behind bars speaks out. Dr. Krop has seen over 2,000 individuals who have been charged with first-degree murder, and has written research on the profiles of individuals who have been sentenced to death row.

Dr. Krop says he does not believe, based on all his interactions with Casey Anthony, as well as psychological testing that she has any diagnosable mental illness.

So know JB knows more then Harry Krop a forensic psychologist? He says the detectives should of known this but a psychologist who spent over 20 hours with her didn't? She's not nuts, she's just a lying, self-centered baby killer! JMO

BBM - During the trial, Linda Burdick proved that Cindy was once again lying about the phone call. Cindy knew she was caught in yet another lie because Linda was methodically going over the phone records of the days previous to, the actual date and several dates thereafter that she claimed to have made that call.

It never appeared on the phone records, period.

That isn't exactly what Casey said -

"If they don't find her, guess who gets blamed and spends eternity in jail?"

Pattymarie - I can answer that for you. We know we mourn the death of Caylee and the injustice of a verdict that set her killer free on July 5th last year.

Other folks celebrate here for other reasons, just like they did right after the verdict was originally read a year ago.

I recall GA in his driveway saying that wasn't my daughter in the trunk. He was quite upset and I always thought he misspoke and meant his granddaughter.

“Please God, don't let this be my Casey or my Caylee.” - George Anthony.

Is this for real trying to go after George? Are they making him take another sword in his heart so His daughter can get off probation and look like the innocent victim. This makes me sick. I wonder if this whole JB book coming out at this time is becoming more evil as the days move on.

It's none of these things. KC is not mentally ill, she's a liar, always has been, always will be, for what ever reason, but not for the reasons Baez is giving.

This book has NOTHING to do with KC, but everything to do with Baez. IMO.

Baez through out the book tells a story of being the under dog, how hard he had to fight and over come all the injustice that was done to him, to become a member of the bar, over and over again, it's awaysl someone else's fault. never his.

So, here he is, a rookie defense attorney, defending the most hated woman in he world, and guess what?
He WON!
In the end he lost, and that's what he's fighting for in his book, in other words he wants some respect.

He lost because nobody shows him any respect, because he does not deserve it, but he does not see that.
He lost because KC is the most hated woman in the world.
He thought after winning the biggest case since the OJ trial he would get some respect from the legal community, he got nothing.....
Like he got nothing before trial, no lawyer came up to him to offer help.

By writing this book, he's fighting for what he thinks is right.

He lies and lies all through out the book, to justify his actions to get his recognition that he feels he deserves.

Noor - I think you are dead on target with this post - thank you - well done! I sure couldn't have said it this well.

“Please God, don't let this be my Casey or my Caylee.” - George Anthony.

I'm going to call this comment not suspicious at this point from George - IMO of course.
I hate to admit the number of times I've heard of an accident on the route my daughter drives home, or I have passed one close to home and immediately said "please God don't let this be my baby"....even though in reality I knew she was probably somewhere else.

And if I'm wrong, then I agree with you, but I am 100% convinced that George agreed to all of this (probably at Cindy's forced-fist) before the trial ever began.

There were too many clues pointing in that direction during the trial - starting with Cindy's drama-queen act on the witness stand, falling over with her head between her legs, etc. I'm all for compassion & sympathy, particularly in a child's murder case, but nothing about the Anthonys have earned that compassion; they have lied, covered & cheated the system from the onset of this case.

George was deliberately obtuse during much of his testimony, in fact to the point of being ridiculous (River Cruz comes to mind) - all played up for the Jury to question his honesty and probably for that matter, his sanity.

Remember that Baez asked George during the Hearing how far he would go to save his daughter, even something illegal.

George agreed that he would do anything, and he did.

I don't believe it was suspicious, but then again, I don't believe George had a thing to do with Caylee's murder or body disposal. No way, no how.

In addition to what you have stated, George also had the added emotional burden of knowing that he hadn't seen Casey, it was odd that she would abandon the car, and he hadn't seen Caylee in over a month.

Sorry Dcstew, I mis-read your post thinking you were referring to George's muttered prayer in the tow-yard.

You did clearly say "driveway"! :blushing:

But I remember George brushing his hands together walking past JB glancing at KC as if to say "I am done with you" George was not too happy.

True, but to me, that only added to the ridiculous, unnecessary theatrics so that he didn't look obvious towards helping Casey, that's all.

If you think about it, who else could the Defense blame? George was really their only choice, and an admittedly willing choice at that. I also believe that George knew his own choices, either agree to help Casey any way he could, or be tossed out of CINDY'S house - no less, without the blood money they knew they would reap whether Casey was convicted or not. The media would have been just as eager to shower them with paid-interviews and TV spots with either verdict.

The Defense also knew that they couldn't just "blame George" for Caylee's demise because they had no proof, nothing that tied George to Caylee's murder in any way - they had to dirty him up with something else so that his character was more than unsavory. Enter the pedophilia claim. Nothing quite accomplishes the filth-factor like that does!

Thank you for pointing that out to me now I can quit feeling so bad for him.
Basically if we have a defendant that is a known liar then the defense and everyone is is supposed to be liars. So... so much for "do u swear to tell the truth the whole truth nothing but the truth" is a big lie. So KC was in her good place with these guys. The prosecution is supposed to be the ultimate professionals and worry about the defendant and their rights, but not so much for the defense and all their people, they don't have to.
What a world we live in I am totally confused. Makes no sense to me.
The ultimate liar gets to have a bunch of people lie for her. What a lesson she learned.
I will never think "Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law"
