Longtime lurker on all of the HE threads. Never really had anything of significant value to add. However, I will say in my experience, someone from tilted kilt would have told SM. I worked at Hooters and Tilted Kilt for a short time during college, and I will tell you this, in my experience, these type of restaurants are the cattiest, most gossip filled environments ever. Also, her weight gain and possible sources of it would have been something very much so discussed. It was strange to me how often personal life crossed over to work and was openly discussed. I had waited tables elsewhere and it was nothing like working in the "breasteraunt" industry.
What sealed the deal for me today was the pay phone calls and the botched lying done by SM. If you are telling someone to leave you alone, in an affair your wife already knows about, you would be doing it on speaker phone in front of said wife. You wouldn't be sneaking out to call in the manner he did. I think they had probably broke things off, and then she realized she was pregnant, and not wanting to get SM in trouble had tried leaving him notes saying they needed to talk. When word got back to him she might be pregnant, he reached back out to her. I think he got her to get in the car with him, and either TM was there, or he did something to her on his own(Which is kind of how I'm leaning but at the same time I could see them both being in on it).
