Actually,this information came from someone else other than the family member who happens to be a veteran police officer himself. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reviewed the surveillance camera video tape and transcript.

No way do I believe the AJC would make these statements and print this article if the info. wasn't true.

That'll be the day I believe a bunch of journalists over LE and the seasoned police officer I thought was explained to be RH's brother.

I originally thought the statement "I dreaded how he would look" was really incriminating, but I have changed my mind. When one of my kids falls and hits her head/face, I have a few seconds of terror between the fall, and when I am able to look at her face with the hair out of the way. I always imagine a broken tooth or cut to the eye. Something horrific, and it scares the crap out of me.

If I were driving, and just realized I left my kid in the car for 7.5 hours, I would be filled with dread between the time I saw the top of his head, and the time I pulled over and got to my child.

So why didn't JRH see Cooper when he got in the car as he was leaving work? IIRC JRH said he finally saw Cooper when he turned to the right while driving? IMO he knew Cooper was in the car from the get go.

Serious question; is JRH's name, "Ross" NOT short for [modsnip]? I thought it was since he used it for so many of his SM accts. Is it really just "Ross"? Because I have been calling him [modsnip] for quite some time, thinking it was what "Ross" was short for.....

I have seen it posted that he is indeed a distant realtive of Elvis. 3rd 4th cousin or great great nephew...
I wish I could track that down, but I didn't renew my membership to myheritage. If it's true, I'd bet it's there.

Would that be sleuthing innocent family members?

I think there is a chapter about finding a famous dead relative to make you look important, in the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People "
It's right after the chapter on "sexting minors" and "urinal selfies".

Don't forget the chapter about surviving natural disasters (Tuscaloosa tornado in 2011). He posted something on Reddit about being in that tornado a few minutes after it touched down and was volunteering to answer anyone's questions about it. Someone actually asked, "are you usually late to everything?"

In the current media card game the ajc did a predictable cya from the not so veiled threat of a defamation lawsuit. But as – y'all – have pointed out, the points covered were insignificant as opposed to the pertinent evidence. All the evidence will come out in the trial.

So what we have here is a family member defending RH by way of addressing subjective observations while ignoring the indefensible such as the too small car seat, the cramped interior of the SUV and so on. Big deal. I'm waiting to hear other evidence, like the state of RH's marriage which I believe will be a factor. And the real, formally documented state of his finances.

While it seems that the threat of bringing in L. Lin Wood served to scare some of the media, that won't last too long. At least now we have RH's brother yakking to the press and we might even see more information leaked in the next few weeks. More stuff for us to discuss!

Bro laid out some pretty good evidence.

- He said to plan the cruise shortly before Cooper's death. A cruise he likely couldn't afford.

- they wanted another child before Cooper turned 3. Cooper is dead before the short window they could conceive to make that happen

- they wanted a house before kid. Cooper is dead before that can happen.

- they supposedly had good credit, but he makes no mention that you can have mounting debt and stellar credit

-$6000 in savings is pretty paltry and I wonder how much he had gone through recently

In his defense (I know, I know – blechh!) I have music buddies who are hearing impared and have no trouble tuning their guitars. They have enough aural feedback to adequately hear their instrument.

Having said that, I have experience with audio and the biggest strike against RH about his deaf ear is that sound waves in an SUV will bounce off the glass windows like crazy and more than make up for any deficit. More than enough to hear his son happily babbling away.
