Personally speaking, I find your comments derogatory and inappropriate. I’ve never been homophobic and in fact had a number of gay male friends 50 years ago, long before the days when anyone came out of the closet. Even today I still have a couple of gay friends, one being female. I find your suggestions regarding homophobia insulting to the members on this forum. Mob justice you say? Why is that? Because nearly everyone else has a different opinion to you? We’re about justice for the victims on WS and SD’s sexual preferences may well have provided him with a motive, that’s all. From what I’ve read in articles on the case, comments from lawyers, opinions expressed here together with my own personal views, I never formed an opinion one way or the other regarding his guilt. However I certainly had doubts that the State could prove its case that he was guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

Other than SD himself, who else has said he’s bisexual? Please provide a link establishing this as fact. IMO he only stated this to give himself an excuse that he wanted to get married and to take the steam out of the State’s case that he was gay. Outside the courtroom he has only ever said that he was gay on the Gaydar website and to Leisser.

He was previously engaged and his ex-fiancée said he ended the engagement because he said he could not have sex with her.

More telling however is Leopold Leisser’s statement to the police. Go to this link and scroll down to View Gallery where he said on p.4, “During the last session whilst continuing the humiliation theme, I made him take the active part and have sexual intercourse with me as I believed he had never performed that role previously. ... Diwani found this extremely difficult, he was unable to perform and struggled to maintain an erection. In our previous sessions I had always taken the active part during intercourse whilst he remained completely submissive”.

Is this not enough to suggest to you that he’s unable to have sex with a man or woman?

Do you seriously believe that a heterosexual woman would knowingly go ahead with marriage to a gay man unless she had some other agenda, i.e. both were gay and it was mutually convenient to both to get married?

Re your last quote, even if he is innocent, he was shown on CCTV the morning Anni’s body was found, engaged in a phone conversation and laughing? Is this the pain he felt? Does it show that he cared for her at all? Where has he shown any sadness regarding her death?

“Sneha talked about how the funeral arrangements and how she was unhappy with the way Dewani treated the body of his murdered wife. As part of the Hindu custom Anni’s sister Ami, 37 and Sneha, 31, prepared the Swedish engineering graduate's body for her funeral”.
Sneha said she wanted to do Anni's make up one last time. “He was treating the body, not with love”.

I find your comments offensive and don’t intend to reply to anything further you have to say.

In which case I won't reply to yours then.

The guy is a liar. The irrationality is that you cherry pick parts of what he said as truth.

Please list Dewani's lies. And by lies, I mean deliberate fabrications, not small mistakes otherwise we'll have to make space for Tongo's lies over the next 5 pages.

You seriously don't know his lies?? Really??

Ok here is an extract since you think everything is overemphasis his gayness - you can google search. This was when Max Clifford was still free and taking clients (of course this dude is in jail as well haha).

"Dewani strongly denies the claims and said he had never had a homosexual relationship. His spokesman, Max Clifford, labelled them as ‘ludicrous’ and said there were witnesses who could prove Dewani had not been with the rent boy on any of the occasions they were said to have been together."

I am not gonna list out his lies - the guy is a liar if you have done your research.

I know of this. So because he didn't want the entire world to know he was with a dominatrix prostitute, that means he orchestrated the murder? Go on...

And we have come full circle. That's why I said in my first post to you - "The guy is a liar. The irrationality is that you cherry pick parts of what he said as truth."

So will you finally admit then, because he lied about being with a male prostitute, this is enough for you to be sure of his guilt?

I'm just curious what lies, how many lies it takes to convince someone. Do we count any of Tongo's or any of the other three stooges lies into account? Surely if you render someone a total liar by one lie then no-one's version can be correct in this.

Full circle to you, more irrational and discrimatory weight on homosexuality to me.

"Kansagra, who is the daughter of the founder of the Indian airline SpiceJet, met Dewani at a party in August 2008. The couple eventually got engaged but Dewani broke it off just days later, the Sunday Mirror reported. According to the newspaper, an unnamed South African 'police source' said: "[Dewani] told her he could not have sex with her".

Media, consular staff and airport staff wait for the Dewani family at Cape Town Airport. Expected to leave SA soon. http://t.co/6av8uqqsh9

Chaotic scenes as Shrien Dewani leaves Cape Town Airport. Looking well, relaxed and determined not to comment. Heading to Dubai.

Oh, so not straight back to the UK then? .. doubt he has many friends/supporters here .. he won't be made very welcome, that's for sure!

.. as someone just said on that twitter feed "a miraculous recovery from mental illness".

!
I was amazed how quickly he bolted from the courtroom -- rivalled the speed of an Olympic sprinter

Just an idea - but I'm not certain Dubai will allow Dewani to leave the airport and have a stopover, if that's what he's intending.

'The millionaire businessman faced a barrage of questions from reporters as he headed straight for the boarding gate.

He was thought to be flying to Dubai rather than taking a 12-hour direct flight to the UK, from where he was extradited in April.

Yesterday Judge Jeanette Traverso cleared Dewani after ruling that the prosecution case that the bisexual care home boss had arranged the death of his wife Anni was flawed. '

There's a video at the link but I can't make the dang thing work.

What mental illness. Doctors said he is not mentally ill.
I understand your sarcasm though. :)

Cape Town - Honeymoon murder accused Shrien Dewani is not suffering from a mental illness and should be discharged from Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital, the senior specialist psychiatrist treating him has reported.

First class. Naturally. When did it get so lucrative to run care homes for the elderly in the UK? I guess those care assistants working there are absolutely blissful with the high wages they must be getting too. And the Brit taxman, with all that revenue coming in. :)

'Shrien Dewani arrived at Cape Town International Airport with the calm confidence of a man on the last stretch of a difficult journey.

Mobbed by camera crews, Dewani strode from his specially arranged parking spot, where an airport services manager was waiting with a sheath of first class tickets for him, directly to the international departures boarding gate.'

Man, can the real websleuthers please stand up. No one gives a fig about the guy's gay experience or infidelity. He can hump guys, girls, animals or a combination of everything if he wants. It's the fact that he lied about this. He also lied numerous times on what had happened as well. The guy is not credible.

EDIT - Also, the UK judge thinks there is at least some evidence to send the guy back to SA court. SA judge dismisses the case in full as not evidence at all. Contradiction much?

Lying does not mean murderer. The problem with the case is everybody has lied and hence getting to the truth is really difficult which is what the judge eventually decided. SA judge agreed there was some evidence hence there was a case held, but in absence of concrete evidence nothing can be done. This is where the cops should have gathered better evidence.if ppl r convicted on such flimsy evidence every victims close family will be in jail.

Acts of homosexuality and bisexuality are punishable by long jail terms in Dubai. I think someone may be up to mischief too, on twitter. Posting certain services 'wanted' there, just as news broke about Dewani. With all the publicity his case has gathered, I really can't think he would be foolish enough to try and stay over there. I don't think authorities would like it at all.

I'm not condoning the stance. I just don't want to see Dewani to become a martyr for the cause, and become a victim of real injustice. I don't believe he has been so far, with Anni's case.
