He doesn't look nervous to me. Galloway should be able to address that issue.

Judge Desai says issue is complex. He says he is inclined to adjourn to tomorrow morning. What is potential prejudice?

Adv Botha says #VanBreda will stutter, mumble and it will negatively impact in terms of demeanour. Desai says he won't hold it against him.

Judge Desai says live stream has been unintrusive and hasn't impacted on how proceedings have been conducted or how they progress.

Desai, is it not for me to consider that these are circumstances which may cause him to stutter and draw my own conclusions

Adv Botha says one tends to form opinion on things like how quickly witness answers, demeanour, among others. Can impact negatively.

Desai says witnesses became oblivious to cameras while testifying. Adv Botha concerned demeanour impacts negatively on credibility.

Prosecutor Susan Galloway has nothing to add. Desai adjourns proceedings to Tuesday at 10:00 to apply his mind.

Thanks for tweets, JJ. Judge needs to "apply his mind"... I'd have thought he'd have been prepared for this to happen. I give up! Your thoughts, JJ?

His demeanour will be observed by the Judge either way, televised or not!

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Not only will Desai observe him, but so too will all the court reporters.

He's a gutless coward and doesn't want the public to observe him.

I guess I better drag my voodoo doll out together with the biggest darning needles I can find.

Yep, JJ; gutless coward! How do you think Desai will decide? Not in his favour, hopefully; would be thrilled to see him cower under cross! Too good to miss.

Perhaps Desai is trying to be as cautious as possible re grounds for appeal. Still, I can’t see why HvB should get special treatment.

We should have learned by now that we have to be prepared for absolutely everything because Botha will leave no stone unturned. I was really surprised that the blood spatter expert wasn't going to testify. He was one of two witnesses that had to be flown in at some miniscule cost that had Botha complaining that HvB was running out of funds. What a load of codswallop that was, just like not wanting it televised.

Guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty.

I think this too. If the judge waits and thinks about properly it can't come back on him at a later date as " the judge was unfair". Concerning the live streaming, what difference does if make if the whole world thinks heni is guilty from his testimony. It is the judge who is deciding his guilt or innocence not the public. That will have no bearing on Henri's trial at all. The judge has already said there will be no prejudice. I think Botha just wants to control every aspect of this trial, all the way to the last second.

More manipulation and control going on. What a surprise.

I hope the public gallery is packed to the rafters tomorrow.

I don't even want to see him or hear him.
