It is made by Mods, in my experience. Might be based on traffic...maybe someone else will pipe up and explain what needs to happen for us to be a hot case. Maybe after the indictment comes down...

"As a student of SH and who knows all the immature kids in involved in what ended with Phoebe's death, I am so pissed at our school's counseling staff for not doing more. I know that the mean treatment and abuse was reported to the school guidance counselors and school pscyh, but because of confidential crap they did nothing (that I know of). Not knowing what else to do, I'm asking people to contact them and demand they break their silence in the protection of someone's mental and physical safety - even if it is too late for Phoebe - they could encourage those involved to speak up and tell the truth for her family. Now they are protecting their jobs. I don't trust them anymore."

With so many new cases presented every week, I think they reserve the creation of separate sections for those that require a lot of actual sleuthing of evidence and/or discussion of various theories about whodunnit.

So I wouldn't expect a section for this case alone, but I would love to see a section devoted to "bullying in schools."

It seems they might go with that, considering the number of cases we see and the need for advocacy...?

Yes. Maybe it could be a forum to alert the public about bullying, as different cases arise, and hold these officials responsible, expose their inconsistencies and they may be less inclined to deceive.

We need more sleuthers for that, though... there are so many cases.

We are hosting a scrimmage against Agawam on Saturday Sept 5th. We need parents to donate hamburgers, rolls, chips, cookies and drinks. It's broken down by grade to keep it easy.

Seniors- hamburgers
Juniors- case of gatorade/water
Sophomores-2 bags hamburger & 2 bags hotdog rolls AND small bags ofchips(multi pack)

I applaud parents who stay involved and volunteer for school activities, but I suspect one thing that made the bullies untouchable was that their parents were considered untouchable too, by the admin and other parents.

It's great to be involved, but some bully parents get competitive and pushy about not only their kids', but their own rank, in booster clubs, auctions, etc. Even being a good volunteer doesn't mean much if you're raising spoiled, obnoxious kids.
 
Last year Mrs. Mulveyhill was busy with the school team, it seems...and here's the lacrosse team roster, Kayla Narly is there...along with a few other names I've read on blogs. It has her being 5 foot tall. If that's right, that's pretty tiny...alot of reported viciousness in a tiny package...

Exactly. Being involved is one thing. Having undue influence and preferential treatment, quite another. I am simply exploring that angle.
 
Mulveyhill seems to be a sports name...on Seans myspace page he's "friends" with another sports playing Mulveyhill...my guess? I think it's his brother...

N. Mulveyhill scored five times as the Tigers (11-7, 2-5 Valley Wheel) jumped out to a 9-2 halftime lead and cruised in Amherst.

Tigers standout fullback Sean Mulveyhill, who was the focal point and undisputed leader of the running game, suffered a serious knee injury two weeks ago in South Hadley’s 22-21 loss to Longmeadow, leaving more than a few question marks for South Hadley.

“Sometime during the Longmeadow game he suffered a slight tear in his meniscus and we got it taken care of,” said South Hadley head coach Ray Ferro. “We hope to get him back strong and healthy by the end of the season. He’s a senior, so it would be nice if he could play on Thanksgiving.”

In their first game without Mulveyhill, the Tigers were still able to make hay on the ground. In a gutsy 15-14 win over West Springfield Friday, South Hadley picked up 285 yards and both of their touchdowns on the ground. Mark Dubois, filling in at Mulveyhill’s fullback spot, carried 22 times for 118 yards.

Yes. To be clear, #72's Dad is a police officer. Not Seans, as far as I know (Sean is #25)

But I still find it interesting...a LE tie to the team.

I wonder what rank he is. He looks to be older, so my guess is he has been an officer for some time. Not to mention the ranking patches on his shirt arm.
