I loved that! Am a teacher as well as NASA fan. I went to an educator's conference at KSC in 1997, very cool. Met many of the state finalists in the Teacher in Space Program, although not Barbara Morgan, she was in training in Houston.

It was, indeed. We were given VIP tours of KSC, Disney World and Dr. Phillips High School which had just opened and was very state-of-the-art. Best conference ever.
