http://www.wral.com/news/local/video/12502845/

Thank you for all your hard work. It still sickens me to think Raven is going to walk easy on this.
After years and years of waiting for an arrest and finally the trial, and 1 holdout.

I'm sickened that the Prosecutor, Charlene Coggins-Franks wanted to retry the case but the man running for District Attorney, Roger Echols, wanted it cleaned up before elections so he made the offer.

I think Charlene Coggins-Franks did a fantastic job and I feel she would have won the second time around.

The politics in Durham since Janet was murdered, starting with that sham of a DA Michael Nifong, who took office the morning after Janet was murdered was despicable.

It's over, for the Christiansen's I am glad that it's over. When Raven gets out he'll go on to con, he'll steal, he'll lie and he will be the Karen's issue and some other State's issue. I'm sure he'll stay out of North Carolina, and that's one of the biggest issues there was in this case. Since Raven really wasn't from NC and neither was Janet, this case had no sense of urgency in the DA's office, starting with Nifong who reigned for way too long.

I find it completely sickening that there are people out there...that actually have stated publicly that Janet's family and Law Enforcement wanted it over so they just decided to pin it on Raven...You all know who you are too. I myself don't give a crap if Raven lied, cheated, stole, I believe Janet's family & law enforcement don't either. Nobody wanted just someone to take the fall for this crime. Everyone wanted the MURDERER to be arrested and put in jail.

Not one law officer on the case, not one family member of Janet's, not one person that has sleuthed this case wanted to have Raven arrested just so someone would have pay. Nobody went after Raven because they had no better option.

I know people close to Raven that has said this. This is their mantra, they had nobody better so they went after poor Raven. Those of you that have heard from people close to Raven...seriously think about it.

If it was your daughter, sister, friend, case, would you want just anyone to go to jail for murdering your loved one? Think about it hard.

I can tell you that all the above would rather have had no arrest and I would have made calls to LE, I'm sure the family would have continued making calls, I would rather it not have been solved at all than to have an innocent man in jail. If it wasn't Raven, Janet's family would be able to visit with Kaiden and watch him grow.

The sentence is not right, it's not quite justice, but LE, FBI, the Prosecutors, the family know he's the one the killed Janet and their unborn child and the right guy is in jail and that's that. In about 4 years he'll be someone elses problem.

Embarrassment of an opening statement by the state, ugh. 6 minutes long?!!

The state of north Carolina -

Jason Young

BraD cOOPER

Raven Abaroa

Killers the state will most likely free by 2016. Nice work, North Carolina,,, who is the da down there....

I saw this on one of the news crime shows just this wknd. I had never seen anything abt the case in it's entirety and
boy that Raven sure is a cocky little criminal.
And he's so obviously guilty! But geez, I could not believe the sentence they gave him.

I just figure he's got some big @ss karma coming his way one of these days...

I was just coming here to post this,My fear is he will find some unsuspecting or gullible woman to marry him.

Your fear will probably be another family's terrible reality.

He is serving his Parole in Utah. He's already reinventing the wheel.

His profile on Facebook was cute, it said "If I ignore you will you go away".

My answer to that is, don't screw up, don't hurt another person, don't lie, don't steal and don't murder again. If you follow those rules, he won't have to come to Websleuths daily and read here. I won't have to come here daily and post.

If he screws up, it will end up here and he'll go away again. He murdered his pregnant wife, he got a slap on the wrist, but he served his time.

Stay clean, don't lie, don't con, don't steal, don't hurt anyone and I'll go away.

Good luck staying the course Raven, keep your nose clean. They call me Notorious for a reason. There's a song out on the radio by Adelitas Way called Notorious and the lyrics are "I told you once so you better believe, you never met a mother.....quite like me". That stands.

Hey Everyone,

I need terminatrixator to contact me ASAP. It has to do with Janet.

Also, and forgive my memory but years ago I was speaking with one of Janet's friends. I think she is a member of Websleuths.
If this person could contact me too that would be great.

My email is triciastruecrimeradio@gmail.com

Thank you,
Tricia
