TruTv--they were highlighting the case on the evening shows last night. I guess they decided it had "legs" because they are going to resume live after the break.

I have a legal question. What IF CY now that she is older has revealed memories of the murder to either MF or therapists, or teachers, would it be admissible for prosecution to pursue that line of questioning????

Meredith says, after she is outside: "I think she's [the child] saying that there was somebody in the house"

Meredith looked after the child for over a year and would be in a good position to understand what she was saying. I see no reason to assume that the child would say "someone" if she meant "her father".

I am not believing that after all this time, we learn that what Cassidy REALLY said was that someone was in the house...:waitasec:

No, I don't think so, Grammy Jean.

Court is in recess, btw.

TTV is calling this a difficult case for the Pros........very weak.

Back in session:

Jury coming in.

MF resuming testimony.

TTV is going to be leaving this case shortly,
and going back to a case in Florida.

I wouldn't see why not but most likely would be picked apart by the other side.

So the Fisher family wasn't allowed to see Cassidy for close to two months after Michelle's murder? Enough time to brainwash the poor child. :(

We are going to be here until Christmas, at this rate.

BH is so slow..........

The same people were calling the CA case a slam dunk for the Pros..... and we know how that turned out.

Boy, isn't that the truth .

I don't think I will ever get over that verdict.

:maddening:

:twocents:

I personally did not watch the first trial and do not find it slow at all...

jmhoo

Then, you are ok!!

I guess us second rounders are wanting to get to the good stuff,
like a verdict.!

IMO this *is* the good stuff. I watched the whole first trial, and am not a bit bored by Meredith's testimony. I think she's doing great. She is setting the scene for JLY's relationship with his wife, and she had excellent inside knowledge of all that. She not only lived with them for a time, but was sought out by both to be their mediator.

defense is up...

(he seems to be sitting down to ask the questions? )

eta:... nvr mind... I guess the other side did too... I just wasn't paying attention ;-)

JMO, but with all that blood in the bed, that Meredith testifed to seeing, even in the 911 call, I think JLY snuck up on her and smashed her over the head while she was still laying in the bed, stunning her enough to knock her senseless, hence the lack of defensive wounds on JLY.

AHA!

A segment of 911 call WAS left out... just as I said last night! This was due to HC being "computer challenged."

Now who was it who insisted nothing had been left out last night????

They are going to REPLAY the entire 911 call again. woot!

BBM

First bolded statement: My hand is raised! Call on me, call on me!! I know, I know!!

Second bolded statement: Yipee, Yipee, Yipee!!!!
