Mr Young urinated on her rug during a party. Jason was drunk.

Ryan puts him in the shower and he runs out naked. Ryan takes a pic. Says someday he's going to show it to C.
 
Defenses spin is Jason was such a funny party guy. Well alrighty then, invite him to YOUR house. :)

Exactly. If it happens to you a couple times, you learn to 'pay attention' when the feeling is exceedingly strong.

Just make sure you don't allow him to have anything small enough to swallow. Sort of like items marked 'not for children under the age of three years old.'

Can't tell much difference in testimony from Prosecution.
 
Shelly picked a hanky off the dresser where the jewelry boxes were. Everything was neat.
 
Shelley and Ryan were very supportive of JY in the first weeks.....she was very truthful in her testimony for that particular time. Unfortunately, it also helped the defense.

1- Bad marriage
2- Jason's immature party antics
3- Told her specifics of his trip that night.

2- MY said JY heard noises recently
3- Shelley felt uneasy as if someone in the back was watching
4- All was normal, they had brief embrace and he left
5- Alan Fisher called at 8:30PM and said he was not coming
6- The young's had recently been lovey-dovey and he said "she was crazy, but he loved her"

JY told MY that this party was only for the men -- such a lie. MY didn't know it was for all the gang - both M & F. Lying liar who tells lies...

re: #6- I wonder how drunk Jason was when he made that statement.
 
Thank you all for keeping such great posts, and on topic. I was detained this morning and just got caught up.
 
sounds like he was already setting up for "intruder" with the stating he heard noises earlier.
 
I guess the defense is suggesting 2 of MF's smoker friends did the evil deed and she was involved....tended to C, changing her clothes, cleaning blood and putting her back to bed.
 
The defense must suggest an alternative as to why Cassidy was changed and clean.
If not, it is 100% obvious JLY did the cleaning up.
Enter the MF theory....remember how closely they followed her late night time-line?

Of course, it is a ridiculous theory, but these are desperate times.

But the way I view this, the fact that she stated things which could be used used in each side of the case lends to her credibility as a witness.

I think the jury "gets it" in terms of the marriage overall. They had a bad relationship from the start and only got married due to her pregnancy. They had an extremely immature relationship. They both were extroverted and social, but JY continued to act like a freshman fraternity pledge into his 30's and after marrying and having kids.

Noises don't mean much, IMO. They lived in an area with very large lots and lots of wildlife. And it was simply a drunken declaration of love for his wife during a wedding reception...along with a simultaneous dig (she's crazy) at MY.
 
Those who want to support the slayer will find any reason to do so. They'll grab any morsel out of a witness's testimony to bolster their opinion. I'm sure JLY's clan is doing just that.
