The parents of missing West Valley mother Susan Cox Powell for the first time have directly accused Josh Powell in connection with their daughter's disappearance.

"We have been reluctant to acknowledge what has been the feeling of many others and that is simply that our daughter is dead. Whether our daughter is being held against her will somewhere or whether she is dead, we both believe the father, Josh Powell, is directly responsible for her disappearance," Chuck and Judy Cox said in court documents filed Friday.

Cox is a very smart man. He held his temper with the P's and kept himself in as much control as possible so that if possible they could see the boys. But now it is time time to go for them, so he can finally say what is on his mind. And do it without looking like he is on a witch hunt against the P's.

There's enough in this doc to turn one's stomach, but I find this particulary disturbing:

Yes -- gosh, I also think of the missing children who must be in these horrible photos. If not for perverts like SP, they wouldn't abduct children for *advertiser censored*. I'm waiting for someone to come forward with a molestation charge. I would think, at some point, these people play out their sick fantasies with someone as the victim like what happened with Danielle VanDam.

That's my question, too. What are the odds that he would keep his little goldmine to himself? I'm sure the computer forensics guys are checking his posting history on message boards, emails, torrents, etc.

I have a neighbor that doesn't mow and water his lawn as much as he should. Honestly, it bugs me. I feel like hugging him after considering what it must be like to have Steven Powell as a neighbor.

ETA: I see others picked up on it, too. They are seeking sentencing enhancement based on the quantity of the child *advertiser censored* materials. That's their leverage. That little [restraining myself so as not to see <mod snip>] will be terrified of what will happen to him once he's in the General Population on that conviction.
