Stranded man cut down power poles to get rescued

Smart guy, and ballsy; I don't think I'd have had the guts to cut down power poles, and with an axe no less.

Glad he survived, :hand:BUT... having said that, in most situations he would be stupid to cut down power poles!:doh: Not only does he face death by electrocution, he is also liable to get sued by the utility companies if he is caught!!! :razz:My husband works for the phone company and he's had to work through the night to find crews in the middle of the night 1a.m. & 5a.m. to replace the ones idiots have knocked down!!!:banghead:

True, but this wasn't sheer stupidity on the man's part. I think the companies would be willing to forgive a stranded man who might otherwise have possibly ended up a UID or missing.
