A Stockholm public prosecutor announced that the rapper and two other men arrested on July 2, will be tried for “assault causing actual bodily harm.”

The exact trial date is likely to be announced next week and expected to last around three days.

The trial will also rely heavily on eye-witness accounts, alongside video footage and the Court will also decide if the proceedings will be open to the public.

A$AP Rocky will remain in custody at the Stockholm Detention Center, where he has been held since his arrest. On July 9, a source described conditions at the facility as “horrific” and “inhumane,” adding that they included “24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life-sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions.”

It seems as if A$AP:s fans and supporters doesn't like the idea that his case will be tried in court, as it should, as for any individual who commits a crime. They seem to think he should have some kind of immunity because of who he is.

What Mr Trump and other Americans doesn't seem to want to understand is that the Swedish prime minister, or any other minister, will not, and are not allowed to, interfere in juridical matters. I'm a HUGE President Trump supporter surrounded by like minded folks (& a very limited # of haters), somehow I missed this call for a boycott? I read about POTUS "reaching out" to the PM of Sweden last week but maybe he's made statements in the last 3 days? Anyhow I have yet to speak with any MAGA's that think ASAP should be released on bail or that this case is within any scope of self-defense. I am amused that TOS prevents discussing accomplishments of the greatest President ever but anytime there is something gossipy it gets dragged out. Funny that!
and yeah 2 on 1 is not self defense, this particular American (ASAP) needs to hire an actual bodyguard because as of now his body is jailed in a foreign country instead of making music for the masses.

This most likely doesn't have anything to do with ASAP Rocky, but one of the Swedish advocates involved in the case have been injured in a shooting in Stockholm. A woman are in custody, suspected to have hired a "torpedo" to kill/injure the lawyer. ASAP Rocky’s Swedish lawyer shot in Stockholm
The woman (his ex-wife) have been a highly- placed lawyer/judge earlier, but during the last couple of years she have been arrested a couple of times for violent behaviour, including hitting a police officer in the face with a closed fist.
