'A seven-month-pregnant woman has been murdered by her boyfriend in a suspected honour killing, police in Sweden say.

Saga Forsgren Elneborg, 20, was found strangled to death - possible with a lamp cord - at home in the city of Örebro - which is two hours from the capital Stockholm.

Prosecutors claim that her boyfriend, Mohamedamin Abdirisek Ibrahim, 22, from Somalia, killed her in April last year rather than face the shame of introducing the mother of his child to his Muslim family.'

I despise the term “honor killing”. He killed her because he thought his parents would disapprove. Because she wasn’t Muslim. So, can that technically be considered a hate crime? Killing someone based on their beliefs/non-beliefs?

In the end, my bet is that Ibrahim was just another Alpha male punk hiding behind religion.

Alas, I was hoping this (murderous creep) guy would really have an austere prison life. But dhaaang, the prisons in Sweden are nicer than some "low income housing" in many US cities, IMO. Ugh check out the "dorm room decor" and it even has a large screen TV mounted on the far end of the bed!!!
As I have stated before, his crime is horrible, disgusting. I wish the Mother of the victim could ask that he be sentenced to prison more akin to Columbian-type or a Russian gulag. I hope he enjoys all his new pals! (Spoiled momma's boys seldom do well in any confinement. IMO.)
