They no longer do that swap with T. Since March, KHB has lived in Roseburg, first with his grandparents and now with T.

It's not clear why he was sent away.

But the parents' relationships have been cordial, said Terri's mom, CM.

She's been in Portland, trying to comfort Terri and Kaine. "It's a tough deal," said LM, Terri's father, who's still in Roseburg. "There's a lot of grilling. There's a lot of pressure."

For whoever wanted a link that her parents live in Roseburg.

Fast move for a control freak, eh wrinkles? UNLESS of course, she followed your SAGE advice on how to organize this and be rational. That's it!
You got skills, Wrink! And you moved this badmama right along...

Hee Hee Xin...

Well, I'm not suffering from any delusions of grandeur :) I think that someone assisted Terri into knowing that she needed to be as sweet about that which was asked as possible...public image help. My guess is that someone had some organizational skills that helped shuttle the "changeover" quickly, maybe Terri has that type of skill. Maybe Kaine has that type of skill and laid things out quite promptly with his attorney, offering it to her attorney for agreement.

I hope that Terri left no shadow of anything that could injure her image further, i.e. taking that which was not agreed upon, leaving the house filfthy, damaging anything... That would not be very clever, and my guess is she was warned against it. My latter mentioned hope is because I would hate to see Kaine have to face off with this type of damage, he's suffered far more than anyone should ever suffer AND that suffering is a "marathon" not a sprint -- it isn't done :(

I am not sure that LE can make her come to them, can they? TH may tell LE if they want to talk they will need to come to her and and by appointment only. I can't find anything good to come from her moving to another town other than KH gets the house back. LE is going to have to start from scratch any surveillance, bugs or wires that may have been in her old home.

Evening to you Cher352,

Nice to meet you... :)

Good questions, I don't have the answers, wonder if one of our other posters do... Can LE, or FBI for that matter, request that she drive up to meet and speak with them? On the other hand...might she be able to say, "I am willing to speak with you at my home." OH BUT WAIT...she has an attorney. What is the likelihood she would have to show up at his office or with him somewhere to speak with LE etc? Maybe someone who understands the workings investigations far better than me can address this OR even if it is an issue at the moment??

Hmmm...yeah, bugs, wires...hmmm... True enough...humma hmmm... I'm not sure that LE or FBI could enter the home she would be staying in...without a search warrant? Gads, does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Hello KimberlyD,

Nice to meet you...

Agree... I might feel quite uncomfortable at the Horman home immediately, as well, and for several reasons.

a. IF there were people threatening Terri -- might they show up there? If so, one of the first things I would do is post a HUGE "Terri moved to Roseberg" sign on my front gate AND make sure to do as many news conferences as necessary to say that she had moved and where her friends could locate her.

b. IF Terri was very unstable during the move (and based on the thought of the murder for hire), she might have done any kind of wierdness in that house. I would be scared of poisons being rubbed onto door nobs, or sprayed onto walls, or put into the water etc. Gads, what a horror to think about... Could even be something that sits like a time bomb kind of danger. By the time the problem was found -- the damage could be done to Kaine and the baby :(

I have to hope that neither of the above are real worries, but I'm not sure.

BBM
I've thought of all the different kinds of things she could have been doing all this time, and while moving. I don't like any of them, but would Terri even be THAT brazen to do anything? And if she was, would LE be able to arrest her for that?

She is represented. Wouldn't the proper procedure for LE to talk to her be to coordinate with her atty first? I think they would need a warrant to approach her directly.

How far is away is Roseburg?
Wonder if she will feel more comfortable there? That may not be a good thing as far as the pressure cooker thing goes.

I would be scared she would try to get into the house. She seems unstable.
I hope KH does not take his eyes off of that baby! I don't trust TH.

BBM~

YA THINK????:woohoo:

MOO!

I've been thinking with the RO accusations of murder for hire her lawyer may have advised her to hire bodyguards to protect her husband. With Kyron missing from her care and probable cause for both she better hope not a hair on his head or the other child's goes missing.

I don't think police need a warrant to talk to people.

Hello RubyRed,

My goodness, you are one of my very fave colors :) Nice to meet you.

I'm curious why there is no arrest so far, but figure it is "gathering info/evidence" AND/OR further waiting for the blunder that pegs. My guess is that the pressure cooker would be further backing into the corner (if TH is not already against the wall there -- guess not, she still comes and goes as she pleases.)

SO...what might crimp the coming and going? What might crimp "freedom of communication" further (i.e. if you know someone is going to find your sexting etc. on a phone)

Was wondering what WS'rs, in their corporate wisdom are thinking or conjecturing.

Hmm...wonder if the Mustang has payments... Maybe no dough for the payments? Hmmm...wonder if TH is receiving that child support check for her eldest or if that has been redirected or cutoff yet. If it hasn't been cutoff yet, might someone help to get that cutoff from TH and sent to the person rearing this eldest child now? Does TH have visitation with that child? Might that be approached for that child's security?

Hmmm...wonder if Kaine would be forced to make the Mustang payments? Sheesh, divorce mechanics are so stinking weird... I'm wonder if Gitana or one of our divorce legals might step in. IF the Mustang has a loan on it, if it is in Kaine's name, would he have to keep making payments as a part of the divorce situation -- could he default on that, even though it might wreck his credit?

What might be happening behind the scenes to add pressure in the financial area and with the divorce? OR...maybe that isn't possible?

I know my son's wife split with her boyfriend, leaving my son with the kids, she did not take her visitation hardly at all (she and her boyfriend had so many fishing trips that were so much more important, yeah...that!) He did not get compensated in any way for the custody time she did not take, heck she did not pay the insurance, the med bills nothing that she was supposed to pay. Taking her to court for that, I guess would have had to be a contempt thing (if I recall at all) and I believe I had learned that judges don't like mucking with contempt.

SO...where is the next set of, or pressure point to hit...

Hey guys, I think she left last night. Look a post #5 in the new scanner thread in the PL downstairs.

Wow... Do ya think that she read my "how to get out of the house in 24 hours" organizational messages last night? :waitasec:

:::snipped by me :::

That or she saw my comment about contacting Josh Powell, ;)

I think Roseburg might be where her parents live, if memory serves. Not sure though.

My only concern is how likely TH is to pull a Melinda Duckett. Didn't MD crawl into a closet at her (grand)parents house and take all her secrets with her? Not that I'd regret the loss of TH, but rather the lost opportunity for closure to the family and justice for Kyron should his body be found.

Can't see TH doing this, she is nothing like MD. Although she may have gotten a few ideas from her story though. And some folks are now trying to prove MD did not do it to herself either.

Now this is just my personal opinion but, having made many pit-stops in Roseburg on my way to Portland...I have always had the impression that it's a "good ole' boy" type of town. Wonder how they'll receive their new resident?

I also don't mean anything derogatory about the residents of Roseburg at all...so, please don't misread my post. It's just a feeling...

I think Roseburg has other high profile cases going on. Two that I can think of a second grade teacher and 16 years old... both sex crimes.

I would have to find links I pretty sure that both are in Roseburg.

Melinda committed suicide in her grandparents closet and took the secret of where her son is with her.

The people that have him know where he is . . .

Just can't forget MCSO's early statement;

"We believe that Trenton Duckett is alive", said Captain James Pogue.

My guess of what is next in the pressure cooker -- TH will be posting on websites in a day or two. Just a guess!

I wondered if possibly the 3pm Saturday time given was to throw off the media.

That's funny,I was just going to say something like that, but decided to read back first and saw this.Yesterday was very odd,Kaine and the two lawyers go into the judge, later Terri is seen leaving her lawyer's office with her lawyer. Then all of a sudden the judge wants to see them at 3pm today, why couldn't he have just said what he had to say then?I also think it kept the media away so she could move out.Maybe Kaine moved in with the baby, media was all at the courthouse.

There is no accounting for crazy.

I also see a difference btw TH and MD. Though the distinction for me is a slight one. However, in the case of MD, he was her biological child and her ultimate decision hinted at a tiny bit of remorse. She even purposefully remarked before she checked out that her son "was never going to be found." She knew she had disposed of him sufficiently that she most likely couldn't have ever been charged. So I don't think she went into that closet because she felt her back was against the wall wrt LE. With TH, if she's responsible (and I think she is), she'll never feel remorse for her actions regarding this particular child. I think she likely feels justified to this day.

The more I think about it, the less likely it seems she would hurt herself. She's probably plotting her moment in the sun.

Just for a little bit of background.

Roseburg is a small city in Douglas County with a population of about 20,000. The largest employer is Roseburg Forest Products which makes lumber products. It is very much a blue-collar company town. It has thick forests all around and has beautiful scenery. Terri grew up in Roseburg, and I suspect that this will turn into a second childhood for her. She will be living with her folks, she will have no children or husband to be responsible to. She will be re-living her teenage years with a hot little Mustang. Just from what we know about her, I think we will see some outrageous behavior from her over the next few months and I wouldn't be surprised if her own parents boot her out before long. And somehow, I have a sneaking suspicion there are Roseburg guys lining up right now to give her their cell phone number...
