Why hasn't LE searched? Do they think that the evidence they already have is enough? Are they saving money because so much has been spent on this case thus far?

Are the Orlando police not searching at all?? Why is this all on Tim's shoulders. Shouldn't they be searching, if only to bolster their case? I don't understand the state of Florida at all.

Orange County Sheriff's Office is searching to the best of their ability. This is not the only case they have going on. they have to manage their resources to provide coverage of ALL their cases. OCSO covers a huge area here in Central Florida and have only limited resources.

TES has graciously agreed to come back to help. Last time they were here OCSO gave them all the help they could, including parking their mobile command center at the search center to assist in any way. There were OCSO people out there on their own time helping to search along with mounted patrol, search and rescue dogs, etc. etc. You have to understand that OCSO can not devote everyone and everything to this search, just as any LE agency can not devote all their resources to one case.

I read an article about a week ago that stated LE was out searching and had about 100 LE officers from the area out scoping a certain area. I'll find a link for you all.

I was surprised at the time because prior to TES coming I didn't remember hearing about any searches done by them.

Also (and again I'll find the link) one of the reasons LE gave TES that recovered drug money to help with the TES search was because TES has way more technology than LE does for these ypes of searches. (the drone plane, the underwater cameras, sonar, etc.)

I'll go hunt up those links for you all!

I am just going by other Police Depts.. helicopter with infrared , remember the case of the girl who was murdered and they found her body by using some sort of infrared. She was nothing but ashes and they found the body. I just feel sure that law enforcement has more search options that any search done by the general public. I am not in any way casting doubt on Tim's honesty. I just think LE could offer some help. They did awhile back for about 5 minutes.. not really that is just an expression of frustration.
I also kinda think it is their job.

I would like to invite you to participate in one of TES searches to give you a true perspective of what actually goes on. I believe it would very enlightening to you. They have equipment that is amazing and they work alongside the LE to make the search as effective as possible using all resources such as, airboats, 4 wheelers, horses, dogs, sophisticated electronic equipment, (drone), map specialists and people.

You not only meet some of the most compassionate people that come to help, you find out that LE are also there because they actually care. You get a real education as to what the hazards are for the terrain you are expected to search in and for me anyway, I acquired a new found respect for what LE does. Orlando has a population of 1.8 million people. That considered, they have done a fantastic job on this case and all the other issues they deal with on a day to day basis. LE knows that Tim is the best at what he does. They are as anxious for him to come back as we all are.

I pray we find her this time but if.......we don't it wasn't because we didn't try.

I've been trying to get my daughter and her boyfriend and their friends to help TES - who knows maybe in Nov I can persuade her to do it - she seems reluctant, she's reluctant to do anything new - if I were living there now I'd drag her out there with me :) But we have to wait until next year - maybe I'll get jury duty, we'll be moving to Orlando in May as plans sit right now

Believe me if I were living in Florida I would be out there searching. Even at my age. It simply destroys me thinking of that little girl out there with no one looking for her. I have grandchildren and great grandchildren. How anyone could hurt a child is beyond my ability to be anything but emotional, I guess.

I have a friend who works for my local LE (FL Panhandle). She told that a couple from our area (who apparently has assisted in a number of successful searches) was asked by OCSD to go to Orlando with their cadaver dogs.

They couple went down ~1 1/2 months ago and searched for 2 weeks. My friend also said they may be going back again.

Yes, I totally understand your frustration. I have 6 grands myself but please know even though TES is not here in town right now, LE is continually looking for her and they have all along. Granted, they don't have the manpower that an organized search like TES puts together but they are always looking.

I was reluctant also in the beginning but, I had to my priorities in order. Speaking for myself, you understand.....I thought what's more important.......finding this baby or my skiddishness. It was a cinch what was more important. That being said, there are also people that do not go out on the field searches. They stay at the command center, signing people in, checking ID's, giving out water and snacks to the volunteers, etc. There are a ton of other things to do that are just as important. Hope this helps.

I know this is the completey wrong thread but not sure where to ask this... Can LE continue to interview LA as many times as they want? If they request, can he just say no? He's not a suspect and I don't think he's lawyered up. It would seem to me that LE would want to speak with him A LOT. Thanks and sorry for the OT.

1. If they knew where the remains were, they wouldn't leave it there for the purpose of "flushing out an accomplice". She is a person that needs to be found. There are no extenuating circumstances.

2. They would not ask people to come out to search if they knew where she was. There are people coming from 14 different states to do this upcoming search so that doesn't make much sense.

Ah! A person who finally makes some sense!

Tim Miller is on TruTV now, story about his daughter, Laura. "Haunting Evidence"
I thought some would be interested.

Im so happy leonard is coming to help TES he has wanted the truth and tryed to do the right thing all along. I think him and Tim will be a good team if i were there i'd wanna be on LP search team or Tims... Bless all of those who have helped in one form or another.

I was informed by Rob that he, Leonard and Tim will be returning next month to "finish the job and bring Caylee home"...

They're my heroes. I have no doubts they'll get the job done.
