The statement Stoddard made about him saying "he must have fell asleep" really puzzled me! I kept rewinding trying to figure what on earth that comment meant. But, listening to it I think that they're (the prosecutor and Stoddard) actually jumping back in time and that answer, "he must have fell asleep" was referring to what Stoddard claims RH told them was a possible reason he forgot CH was in the car, not referring to why he was on the phone for 6 minutes.... Man, I really butchered that explanation, but if you go back and watch it you will notice they're skipping back to another topic right when that remark about him falling asleep was made. It's very confusing...Did he mean he fell asleep while on hold?? While his dead son lay on the hot pavement!?

sorry, I have no idea what you're saying here. Who is he and where is the falling asleep coming from?
I posted a response to this earlier, but then deleted it because I wasn't sure.
I just watched the relevant portion of Det. Stoddard's testimony again, and he said they don't have RH's phone records from AT&T yet - he anticipates it taking 6 weeks or more.
It was confusing at first, because of the way the prosecutor asked the original question about RH's phone logs/records, until he specifically asked Stoddard if LE has the records from the service provider and Stoddard said no.
So, the info regarding calls, texts, etc. at this point has come from LE looking at RH's phone.
THAT is the phone I want to know about. If he told someone at the daycare that Cooper was dead, why didn't they tell Leanna when she showed up at 4:51?
I thought I read that the day care person was male ( Terrell ) and that SHE drove... if they knew at this point, or if she was panicking about what was going on.. why did someone not drive HER?? I would not be in a state to drive... and if they knew he was dead, they should have known that she would not be in a state to drive ( or would not be, shortly). Does anyone know how she got home afterwards? If the police brought her home ( or where did she go?? Parents house?) it would be interesting to hear what was said. Same with on the trip from the day care center...
Did she try to call JH after finding out that he never dropped the baby off? ( my first thought would be to call him... see if maybe he decided not to go to work, and they just went out for a little day/son time. Did she call him, call home, try to find out where he was? Im getting my time lines mixed up, but when she found out Cooper was not at day care.. if she tried to call him, would the police have his phone?
I want to know which call he was on that he told the officer on scene to "F OFF!" twice when she told him to get off that call. Was it the six minute one?
Wait... didn't JRH call LH first? Did they speak? Why was she going to collect Cooper when he was dead. WTF she didn't know??? It had been approximately 50 minutes by that stage. This is the first time this has clicked with me with the times and her going to the daycare when Ross knew Cooper was dead at this point with there being police on scene and all. Please don't tell me daycare knew before her. I am confused. I hope we find out more about this 6 minute call and what they knew in regards to Cooper at that point and how it relates to LH being there. Could you imagine a parent coming to your daycare not knowing their kid was dead but you did? They must have known because one of the girls took LH to the scene?
I would be on the phone. It's not crazy. The child was dead; there was nothing else he could do. I would be on the phone calling my spouse, mother or whomever is close to me. When in a shock situation like this, why wouldn't you call your loved ones? That is not to say I support him in any way, but I like to think fairly. But who starts dialing the phone instead of thinking about their child lying there? Craaaaaazy!
Just watching video of the prelim and Stoddard asked Ross how he could have been on the phone for 6 minutes and not be talking to anyone. Ross' excuse was "he fell asleep." Snark? WTH?
OK now watching it again "How it could have occurred" probably means "how he could have forgotten about Cooper in the car. So confusing. (QUOTE)
I'm confused by this as well :blushing: I'm not sure what was meant by "he fell asleep".. Was he saying it was Cooper and that is why he forgot he was in the car, and if so, WTFudge??? You still don't forget he's in the car.. Or was it JRH fell asleep while on the phone for 6 minutes and that doesn't make sense either... So, I'm really confused now and that comes easy for me
He did call LH first and they did not speak. The 6 minute call LE knows, somehow, was to the toddler room. But they haven't talked to any person he spoke with there and, personally, I'm not sure they know that he actually did speak with someone and that there's not some other reason why the connection lasted six minutes.
