Well I thought they both looked pretty good. I liked her red dress

Kensie - It's not, she's just got quite a bit of make up/bronzer on

I liked her dress too. But thought it not fitted very well around the neck (there’s a big wrinkle in most of the pics at the neckline) and needed a bit of a hem. She kept fiddling with the dress all the time which made me feel it wasn’t properly altered. Many of her clothes don’t seem to be to me. I just think when you spend that kind of money on clothing you should pony up a little more and have them properly fitted. Even buying off the rack I‘ve gotten my few formal dresses altered. And I’m sure not by as quality a seamstress as they can afford... lol!

The article states that they clapped & sang along to the song Delilah.

Yes, this is a song performed by Welsh native Tom Jones.

The topic?

Delilah is in a relationship with the singer.
Delilah has an affair.
Singer becomes aware.
Singer kills Delilah.

Wonder if anyone (other than me) thought much about that lyric....

I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window
I saw the flickering shadow of love on her blind
She was my woman
As she deceived me I watched and went out of my mind

My my my Delilah
Why why why Delilah
I could see, that girl was no good for me
But I was lost like a slave that no man could free

At break of day when that man drove away I was waiting
I crossed the street to her house and she opened the door
She stood there laughing
I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more

My my my Delilah
Why why why Delilah
So before they come to break down the door
Forgive me Delilah I just couldn't take any more

She stood there laughing
I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more

My my my Delilah
Why why why Delilah
So before they come to break down the door
Forgive me Delilah I just couldn't take any more

Forgive me Delilah I just couldn't take any more

Delilah is an anthemic crowd song in the UK. Everyone claps and sings along. Its part of our culture.

We'd have millions of serial killers if it was sinister :D:D:D

The Royal Family pay tribute to the Queen on International Women's Day with photo of her in Grenadier Guards uniform during 1953 Trooping the Colour

Royal Family's official Instagram account paid tribute to the Queen on Sunday in a post in honour of International Women's Day. They shared a black-and-white photo of the monarch in her Grenadier Guards uniform, including hat, sash, and medals. HRH was seated on top of a horse and saluting. The caption for the photo read: "The Queen in her Grenadier Guards uniform during her first Trooping the Colour as Monarch in 1953. Her Majesty is Head of the Armed Forces, Head of the Commonwealth, Head of State in 16 countries and the longest reigning Sovereign in British history.

Hey, he only kills the woman who 'enslaved' him & then cheated.

That's all!

Prolly lotsa threads here with that theme?

Glad Tom Jones is so popular! A few pages back with the How Welsh Are You? quiz, I managed to be As Welsh as Tom Jones bench pressing a Corgi.

My Corgi doesn't like to be picked up any more, so I didn't try that.

Time for tea & scone, I think.

Scones & tiaras all around! Greg/Graham, headwear of your choice.

Wait, tiaras are for formal events, evening dress.

Well choose for yourself!

No, IWD is today.
The Queen invited Harry and Meghan to join her in church today. They were in Windsor this afternoon with her. The royals are traditional in terms of church going on Sundays.

I think the official appearance in honour of IWD was most likely the one I mentioned. Meghan referenced it throughout, can you access it? If not I can look for a link :)

No, IWD is today.
I know but it was to do with IWD, so I'm pretty sure that was it

The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit to a school in London to attend a special assembly ahead of International Women's Day.
“You have your mothers, sisters, girlfriends, friends in your life, protect them,” she said. “Make sure that they are feeling valued and safe and let’s all just rally together to make International Women’s Day something that is not just on Sunday, but frankly feels like every day of the year.”

Meghan then asked: “If there is one brave man in this room who wants to come and say what he thinks the important of International Women’s Day is...”
