LOL - you lot are worse than a group of hormonal high school girls with a crush on the teacher!

If you were my patients I would refer you to the ugliest specialist I could think of - that way you would actually concentrate on the content of the consultation instead of getting all hot and bothered. :blushing:

Hahaha you are forgetting - women can multitask......we can get all hot and bothered and STILL concentrate...........on seconds thoughts....maybe not.... :waitasec:

That is good thing though........may have to go back for a second consult to clarify the content of the first consultation.....:happydance: :hot:

I went to thank a post and no thanks button a for a second I thought I was going crazy and had already thanked, looked for my name and it wasn't there and finally saw that thanks was now on the right hand side.

So happy I wasn't going round the bend

And thanks for moving it, much easier to use and away from the alert button which I did click once by mistake :o

Oh Marly, you were saving that one, weren't you? Love it.

Problem now is I am craving a pie?

Take your pick...lol...

Lol. The Google animation today is a little letter R spraying shaving cream onto the letter G and holding up a razor. Not sure how it relates to the soccer but it's amusing given this G's shaving story.

Hi All! I haven't been around like I hoped for this trial but have been following KK on twitter. Finally have a moment to pop in and wow, everything looks different!

Am I right that apart from the girls testimony there has not been a lot of new evidence we didn't already know from the bail hearings presented by the prosecution? What was GBC's demeanour like when he testified, was it more simpering driveway palaver or something else?

I hope they've got enough. Surely the plant matter, scratches and blood in the car are enough for physical evidence.

When there is a penalty kick the opposition line up to a line sprayed on the ground by the ref. It looks like shaving cream....

Prosecutors have told Gerard Baden-Clay's murder trial he was caught in a web of his own making and was looking for a way out of his double life.

He said the real estate agent had deceived his wife over years to carry on office affairs under the noses of his own parents, with whom he worked.

"That shows you the level of deception, it shows you what this man is capable of doing," Mr Fuller said.

"His level of bravado and confidence in what he can carry out and carry on."

TRIALS are about people and relationships.

They are not computer programs with a logical result at the end.

Crown prosecutor Todd Fuller told the jury it was their experiences in everyday life that would decide whether Gerard Baden-Clay murdered his wife.

"Trials are all about people," he said.

"How they deal and react to everyday life and the circumstances in which they find themselves.

"The criminal law is about regulating those responses.

"Through your experience of people, relationships, of behaviours, you've seen people step outside their characters.

"You have an appreciation of how people who are under pressures sometimes react.

Good point he makes here - Why would you bother with a Pap Smear, if your intention was to kill yourself in the near future - doesn't make sense.

Brilliant - "I'm contemplating killing myself in the near future, so I'll just have a pap smear to make sure I don't have any abnormal cells that could develop into cervical cancer 5-10 years down the track...oh, and while I'm at it, I'll refill my usual prescription of the medication that's keeping my mood stable and stopping me from having suicidal thoughts..."

My thoughts are with 3 little girls who are most likely at school and who's fate lies in strangers' decisions.

Please please let justice prevail.......please?

feel so sorry for them , how can you hide any of this from a soon to be teenager , kids are very smart and not naïve ,pity the babies

Exactly!! No one wants to have a Pap smear EVEN when you assume you will be living for the next few years let alone if you have no intention of being around!

NO don't do it MD not until we at least get a conviction:floorlaugh:

IMO Chinple (ha!) aside, it takes such an enormous amount of skill, foresight, nerve and hard work to arrive at a summation this effective. It's like writing the final chapter of a book, knowing how you need it to end and working back from there. To elicit all the evidence you require, 'no more and no less', from 70something witnesses over a month, holding it all at the ready in your massive brain, with no rewind or pause function, it's amazing.

Mr Fuller QC rightly gets the credit, but so too should Boyle QC, the DPP solicitors and staff and those tireless investigators. Win or lose, they and Allison's family know that the prosecution has done their collective utmost in search of the truth.
