Somewhere on here people were asking why no one noticed the smell. There were postings from members here that said that the dog often pooped all over, even the bed.

I could not tolerate that . We have had lots of puppies over the years and it was never an issue unless the dog ate something S/he shouldn't have, such as my children's meals that they may have not cared for. Think nutritious. Yew.

Im confused. Was there testimony of finding dog poop on the bed or is that what posters have said?:waitasec: Thanks

I remember quite awhile ago reading something that a brother of Jodi's wrote something on FB. It was a bible verse. Gosh I wish I could remember what he said now. But anyway I got the distinct impression he does not like Jodi and believes her to be guilty. Is this the only brother she has?

Has anyone been at the trial for Jodi other than her mom? tia

That is actually a Wiccan philosophy, however, if she actually believed it why would she kill Travis? She would believe that her punishment would be far greater than what she inflicted upon him. I do believe it, and will especially if she is found guilty and receives the DP.

There is no evidence I'm aware of that the dog was in the mb suite during or after Travis's death. The dog pooping everywhere was brought up based on statements of peeps who were familiar with the situation saying that's what the dog would do. That experience was raised in response to mimi saying that the smell she perceived on entering the home was due to Napolean's mess. Not even remotely similar, imo.

It was the friend of Travis' who had appeared on NG's show; she stated the dog would poop on the bed. I don't believe it is related to this case in anyway since the dog wasn't shut inside the master bedroom after Travis was murdered.

You have to be watching the video replay of the trial to see 158 and it was very brief and not displayed on the big screen. I had to rewind and pause several times before I could really see it. It is a photo that looks exactly like the full face photo (159), but it's really dark like it was taken without a flash

Somehow, I seriously doubt Jodi still practices Mormonism. She probably abandoned the faith as soon as she killed him. She definitely ignored the commandment, "Thou shalt not kill"!

Having roommates and trips and long hours/odd hours makes it more difficult to housetrain a puppy. They need consistency during the training period, after that not so much. This is just my own personal experience. If he had a dogsitter there whenever he took trips then that's good, but still a different person. :twocents:

You have to be watching the video replay of the trial to see 158 and it was very brief and not displayed on the big screen. I had to rewind and pause several times before I could really see it. It is a photo that looks exactly like the full face photo (159), but it's really dark like it was taken without a flash

I do want to say though that Wicca does not

And honestly, I am more and more thinking he wasn't that opposed to the idea. Not that I think he wanted anything more from Jodi, but I do think he probably bought into her lie about visiting friends and well, it was some sex.

I think Travis was very sexually attracted to Jodi even though he knew she was not good for him. He even made those comments about being "not temple-worthy" , IMO, because he was so conflicted with wanting her sexually while knowing she was not where he wanted his life to go.

Remember where he came from-I think living a life that was anything but moral (as he perceived morality) was scary. He wrote about the horrors of his childhood. And knew that drug addiction was to blame for it. IMO, he had a fear of falling into some lifestyle of vice and even having a normal (to me) sexual appetite was something that he struggled with. And yet I think he engaged in a purely sexual relationship with Jodi because he quite simply, was turned on and wanted some sex.

A very normal, very typical healthy man. And I think a long as he was honest with his partner about the relationship being purely sexual, (and it appears he was) then no harm, no foul.

Unless said partner is a psycho.

I would like to add, though, that while Jodi is obviously a depraved and dangerous killer, she is no more a "*advertiser censored*" than are the men she engaged in sex with. The woman is a sick murderer, but to hold her up to one sexual standard while excusing her partner(s) is really kind of skewed. Yet I keep seeing her portrayed as such by the likes of JVM and NG.

The saddest part of this for me was reading his words about his painful childhood and how his mother would wake from drug induced slumber to beat him... and how he'd learned to TURN AWAY SO SHE COULD ONLY BEAT HIS BACK.:furious:

Flash forward to the murderer violently slashing him in the back and neck and head as he tried to cower and/or flee...

My heart literally HURTS when I think that's how he had to die.:tears:
