The Talent show

Well, given that there was a thread previously debating the info re: the talent show and Kyrons part in it, if there was one, and the video with Kaine and Desiree stating they were uncertain about the talent show, and the presser where a question about the talent show was asked but LE had standard no comment answer, and that previously there had only been a comment form one other parent stating Kyron was to appear in the talent show, and...last but not least, the question of why if he was to perform, Terri did not show up for it.... I believe some people still had questions in their mind as to whether or not Kyron was to perform.
That's why I posted it, and that is why I think it was important. Others may not feel it matters, which is fine. I happen to think it is. I still had questions about the talent show until I saw this, now I feel confident he was supposed to take part.

Does their truck have a backseat? I haven't looked closely, so I don't know.

I think it has been confirmed that Terri took Kaine's truck and had baby K with her on the day Kyron dissappeared so it most likely does have a back seat for the car seat.

This just seals it for me, Terri did not go back to the school for the talent show KYRON WAS TO BE IN (as I suspected all along) because she knew Kyron wasn't there.

End of story, as far as I am concerned.

But Kaine didn't go either - and he took off work early . . .

I believe he has stated he did not know about it...I don't see how she could not have known about it because she was reportedly always at the school- and was that morning- and it was posted on a sign, from what I've read...(still wouldn't condemn her for not going)...

Physical evidence or not, what leans me is the fact that she was the last person seen with Kyron and then had an hour and a half she can't account for.

See, there are conflicting reports on this as well. Some say she was "the last person to see Kyron", but others in/with the school say that she wasn't.

I think it's REALLY fair to say at this point there is neither a head or a tail to be made in this case, and there is still no Kyron.

Thanks... yeah... I didn't realize there were 9 pages of posts or I would have waited to comment. LOL! I see it's been gone over...we *still* don't know much. ;)

I think this is an unfair double standard.

But on another note, the school had to be nearly crazy to cram all this activity into one day. YEESH.

2. Is there something somewhere which confirms that the SF projects were supposed to be cleared from the room at 10? Or is it because the school day began at 10 that day with the earlier hours filled with parents wandering around looking at the projects?

I believe the removing the project at 10 a.m. originated from Kaine and DY's audio interview where Kaine goes into quite a bit of detail about the suspiciousness of Terri using the truck. He stated that her use of truck to bring project home that day made no sense because she did not even stay for the entire SF that ended at 10(and at the end of Fair at 10 would be when she was able to remove the project, but not before 10, as the students would be touring the projects until 10 a.m.)

I believe that the notion of SF projects were to be removed at 10 the day of came from Kaine's statements in that audio. Tho, clearly he did not state that, rather only said at 10 am would be the earliest that Terri could bring it home and if she wasn't staying for entire SF then of course she could not bring it home at 845 when she left. This per Kaine making her use of the truck suspicious...

ETA~ Did I mention the time of 10 enough times? lol

Roughly four minutes.
But HRD dogs are not usually brought out until much later.

Thank you!! Just to clarify, I was asking because I would think that if TH had something to do with this, that it's something she would have considered if she had intended to harm kyron and transport him in a vehicle. Heck, even *I* thought of that, and I rarely watch crime shows or read detective fiction and such.

It seems to me that if Kyron was in the truck any time after th claims to have left him at school that day, he must have been alive at the time. I think this b/c otherwise LE would almost certainly have found some evidence in/on the truck to that effect. And it further seems like that would have been enough to arrest her w/o the GJ process. Right? Or am I missing something?

I wanted to share just how much Kyron's disappearance has affected things all across this nation. I am 1000s of miles from Oregon in Tennessee and there are changes in schools policies that are directly related to Kyron and his case is even referenced... I'll explain.. Today was my son's first day of school and they have implemented the AlertNow automated call alert system even in his small private school.. The note said that after the tragic events that took place outside of Portland Oregon in a small school it made implementing of such programs as a now seen necessity...

Made me so very sad to think lil Kyron's disappearance was the event to decide for such programs..

I think having a science fair AND a talent show on the same day seems very odd. I don't remember any of my kids having double events such as that. Both require preparation beforehand and it seems like a lot to expect of little kids.

BTW, I saw a poster of Missing Kyron here in AZ the other day.

If ANYTHING positive can come out of this mess, it might be that school districts will examine their policies about children not in attendance in school. Many schools already have a call in system in place by parents, if a student will be missing, if the school has no note or phone call from home, the school contacts the parent to verify the situation with the student. This system was in place for my kids in High School as well. ( Minnesota)

With so many young people being abducted, we need to adjust and re=examine our local City and school policies regarding the safety & security of our nation's greatest resource . . our children. We also have a 10PM curfew for kids under 18.

I SO agree with this- alot for kids, teachers AND parents (if they were expected which we've never really gotten clarification on)...

Above BBM. Yes, celtic we have the same as well in my area of Tennessee...

Our children are our nation's GREATEST resource which is why I find it so very troubling that the lack of parenting and much needed guidance is at an all time high :(

Kaines truck has a king cab, meaning it has a backseat.

Terri was at the school, at least on the day of the science fair. Probably other days too. Kaine was not, so how could he have seen the sign? Not a double standard at all.

I drive my grandaughter, or we walk, or we ride our tandem bike to her school every day of the school year. I just noticed a week ago that the school sign, which I don't have reason to pass in the summer time, has a message from back in April on it. Still. I didn't notice that through to the end of this past school year. I'm at the school every day, twice a day during the school year. I never noticed it.

As a former high school teacher, I certainly see your point. But the rationale might be that it is better to thoroughly disrupt one day than to partially disrupt two, especially at the end of the school year, which is hard enough as it is.

Yesterday on KOIN there was an article about the 9 year old that was supposed to be performing with Kyron in the talent show. The article stated that he was called to testify before the GJ. I can't find this article now and the link I saved for it doesn't pull it up this morning. Does anyone have this link or any ideas on why it "disappeared"? TIA
