Theories discussion: What could have happened to Haleigh? #3

I do not feel in any way that either parent had anything to do with this child disappearance,however i find it very hard to believe she just vanished in the middle of the night with lights on and the back door open and misty saw nothing.Maybe she wasn,t there,maybe she was on drugs.,who knows ,but in my mind i feel this could not have been done by a total stranger.Someone had to know the layout of the trailer and feel confident that Misty would not be able to stop them.all the answers should revolve around her and she,s not talking.

Yes nurselady that is the hard part to digest. I used to think Misty was out of the home too, then I did some research and read about many cases that children were taken out of their beds while their parent was home.....so it is possible. I don't think it was a total stranger either. Satsuma....more specifically the 5 mile radius surrounding Haleigh's home....was riddled with sex offenders. What we don't know is how many offenders lived near her that weren't known to LE or the Cummings. Maybe a friend of one of the offenders that drove by the trailer on a daily basis. You know the saying "birds of a feather flock together". Someone also could have watched the house a few nights in a row and realized that Misty was alone at night with the kids.

We just don't know anything for sure.

Wow....I never thought about MC being lured out of the home. Quite interesting! So why do you think that MC would hide the fact that she was lured out of the home? I am not shooting down your theory, I am thinking about it. Do you think she perhaps did something she was afraid for RC to find out and that is why she said she was sleeping?

I am not shooting down your theory, I am thinking about it. Do you think she perhaps did something she was afraid for RC to find out and that is why she said she was sleeping?

lured seems so cynical....I do feel after the 3 day binge the person MC knew either knew she would be passed out, and could walk in and take her, or lets say COAKED out of the mh to party....you'll be home before RC gets home...the kids will be fine. I do feel she has done this before...

Not in the same bed or the same room. I would have to check again because I am certain that would have stood out to me. So with the incident that took place just recently involving Hank jr. Do you feel he is at all capable of "luring" or "coaxing" Misty out? Do you think he might be nervous Misty might tell. I know I am reaching but this is the theory thread....isn't it?

I have to say, that if I was 16 and I had this relationship with RC, I would be scared to death to tell him that I was out, even for a minute and Haleigh was taken. I would be so scared of him flying off the handle and well..... God knows what. But that is me.

Looking at his consistant violent behavior, I would have to say that I would think being afraid of him would be sound judgement.

I don't have a take on him at all. If Misty went out, someone could have known, and just took the opportunity to take Haleigh. It's just not that hard. If the person told let's say her brother or some other person they were going over to get Misty to party, it would be easy. No one home but the kids. But the door doesn't fit for me in that scenario. But maybe I don't think like an abductor.

personally, I am quite surprised she is still alive and her neck has not been wrung the first week or so.

He married her for a reason and I think it is only to get info where his baby is...I do not think LOVE is in the equation. SEX, yes, love, no....

Just what I was wondering, but none that I have heard of before were even in the same room. By the way the whole Misty is young and sleeps too soundly doesn't wash---Elizabeth Smart's little sister woke up and she was younger by far than Misty.

I got to tell you guys, that brick is really bugging me. I posted on the dream thread that I googled how cinder blocks are manufactured and I found they are not all the same. Some even have designs printed on them. If that brick came from the yard, there would have been dirt and sand from where it lay. There would be an impression from where it was taken.

I think the door could be "BRICKED" on a routine basis.....they are heavy smokers and do not smoke in the house...so why not make it convenient at times to keep the door open.

I think that the FBI and LOCAL LE know if it was used more than once. They just haven't given anything up yet. They took the screen door, my guess it it tells whether or not that door was routinely bricked. The ramp would show signs of it too.

That's my point. He may not have ever seen it before. From what I read, some of these blocks are made with sand and mortar and some with cinders, like ash. The cinder ones are lighter I believe and have a dark gray color to them. There are different cinder block manufactures in FL. It was only a part of one that was whole at one time. So if they could determine who made the block, which manufacturer and where it came from; they could maybe find where they shipped too. Then you could see if that block had the same ingredients as the ones you find. Maybe they could then see if someone had access or worked there. If they find the other half of that brick, you can bet they will find who put it there.

Amen,there is just too many things wrong with this picture,the light on ,the door bricked open,Misty sleeping right beside of her a total stranger in all probability did not do this.Misty had to be gone are drugged,i think this was planned and i am glad we are sleuthing relatives and friends.
