Adam Corley was last seen outside of his workplace in Cordova on July 5, 2024, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Family reported the 28-year-old man as missing July 22.

Police said Corley's father had asked someone he knew in Memphis to file a missing person report for his son because he does not live in Tennessee. The father said his son hadn't posted on Facebook in nearly a month, which was "unlike the victim," MPD said.

And when he tried to call his son, the father said it went straight to voicemail.

Oh no...this just keeps getting worse. :(

Noting:

On July 23, a family friend told police that she had found Corley's car parked near the Crunch Fitness in Cordova. A security guard told MPD that the vehicle had not been moved for weeks.

Two other friends told investigators that in the days before his disappearance, Corley had messaged them looking for drugs, police said. One friend told investigators that Corley told him he had lost his car keys days before he went missing.

Griffin said her brother, who was not working at the time and had been couch surfing, wasn’t reported missing until July 23.

“We really have just not heard from Adam. My mom had not heard from him since the fifth until our sister on July 23 sent us the Memphis flyer showing he was listed as a missing person,” said Griffin. “That’s when she told us they had towed his car, and it had been there since the fifth.”

[...]

... Griffin said Crunch employees told them Adam left the gym at around 7:30 a.m. on July 5 with another member but couldn’t provide his name.

[...]

“From what we were told at the gym, they only kept their video for one week. That’s why we want to talk to the police,” said Griffin.

Griffin said her brother has been battling mental illness and drug addiction for years and recently relapsed. She said he was not answering his phone or responding to text messages. Griffin said the family is trying to remain positive and wants to hear from Adam.
