We don't know the exact diagnosis (name of genetic disorder) Sebastian has, do we? I just want to learn more about it, if it was reported.

As far as his mother being interviewed alone, LE could always request interviews alone with just her, right? Some friendly female officer...Of course, she could refuse. But it wouldn't be a good look.

One thing I wonder -- she said she went driving around looking for him. I wonder for how long and when and how much of that search LE was able to confirm.
In the dispatch convo while officers were on the scene they confirmed she was driving around searching.

Correct. Maybe just word salad, IMO, the “not enough” is telling. They did not say there is NO evidence suggesting foul play.
If there's not enough evidence to suspect foul play, I wonder if there's enough to rule it out? Probably not.

Edit to add that if they're going more towards foul play not being a possibility here, they'd probably be still searching for him out there, right? So I think they don't have enough evidence to support foul play *just yet*, but are looking for it.

"Seth Rogers, Sebastian's father, told WSMV that he is searching the Natchez Trace State Park in West Tennessee, because he fears his son may have been "dropped off" there, but he did not specify why he thought so."

I wonder why he thinks that.. any ideas?
I've seen people speculating that place on some of the Find Sebastian FB pages, and one was based on a psychic...take that as you may. JMO

Ok my issue with the locking out theory is that they said in the second NG interview that their door locks are coded, and that SR knows the code. So I don’t believe he could have been locked out.
Unless someone changed the code so he couldn’t get back in and he would serve out punishment. Mom could have fell asleep and once she woke up, he was gone.

Rogers said “somebody told” his mother he should search Natchez Trace State Park for Sebastian, which is more than 100 miles from Sumner County.

Some of it also seems to be based on an analysis of those odd travel time numbers we had noticed, mapped to some potential travel routes. How far some of the principal parties could have driven in available time, basically.

Maybe some sort of punishment? That's a very specific place to look. Wonder if digital forensics pinpointed that location, whether it be a cars gps, a phone, whatever.

Things get a bit iffy for me if I go down the path that he left on his own accord, honestly. Not all children with autism are elopers, yk.
I've personally stepped on an ant's nest before and years and years later found out that this triggered a severe allergy of ant poison in me, so I most definitely wouldn't go around barefoot anywhere. I avoid places that could possibly have ants.
There's also the ASD perspective in this which is how sensible we can be around our body, so maybe it was uncomfortable for him to be barefoot outside.

If his mother realized he was locked out and then that he wasn't near the house, whether on purpose or by accident, it fits with what she said about going around and frantically searching, as opposed to calling 911 right away, thinking he was abducted. JMO.

But what points away from the idea that he was purposely locked out- wouldn't she have worried about him being loud and neighbors finding out he was locked out?

Come to think of it, did she ever go to neighbors' houses to ask if they had seen him?

That's an interesting point. Does anyone know if keypad lock systems track code changes in any way? Would there be a way for law enforcement to look at the software and determine when the code was last changed?
I know some keypad locks will track when codes are entered, so you know what time someone entered the home. It stands to reason you would also be able to tell when a code was last changed. If that's the case and it shows the code being changed that night, it would be pretty suspicious to me.

That's about the only thing that would convince me Sebastian actually walked away from that house on his own.

Same! I see mention of a CPS visit to the home. Can someone please expound on the details if known?
Not just "a visit," but apparently multiple visits.
Rogers says he still has hope that his son is alive. Rogers did raise another concern: he recently found out the Tennessee Department of Children's Services (DCS) has been called to Katie and Chris Proudfoot’s home in Hendersonville.
Sebastian's stepfather, Chris Proudfoot, confirmed with FOX 17 News that DCS has been called to their home before, but adds that all those cases are closed. He says the only active case with DCS is Sebastian’s missing case

Note: "all those cases" - not just one case, or he would have said "that case is closed." Not just two visits, or he would likely have said "both of those cases are closed." It sounds to me that they've been called out at least three times. IMO, MOO, etc., etc.

Chris says he's had CPS called on him twice in two different states: New Mexico & Tennessee.

He says Sebastian was going to school one day & Chris noticed he wasn't wearing a belt. Chris says he asked him "where's your belt?" Sebastian went & got his belt & Chris smacked him with it. Sebastian told a teacher when he went to school & the teacher called CPS.

"Sebastian thought that by telling on me, making me sound like I was so horrible, that I was gonna get in trouble over something stupid."

Chris then claims that the CPS worker who showed up took Sebastian outside & told him that he shouldn't be making up stories about people to get them in trouble because "you can get in trouble for that, Sir"

Chris says the CPS worker apologized to him profusely & left.

*Chris starts talking about CPS around the 27:00 mark
