The reason we aren't hearing anything from LE may be they don't have everything yet. It takes time to get info and sift through it from phones internet etc
I was thinking about one of my gk. Mom grounded and took phone. Some kid at school gave gk another phone to use. As long as you got Internet kids can still get on. Hard to keep a 15 year old off the internet. They are smart and find ways. He could have had a phone KP didn't know about. We know he used it at his dad's. Also people upgrade and have old phones laying around
I have a few.

1) The unpleasantness started after CP bragged about his visits from CPS & using a belt on Sebastian. Prior to this Seth had been completely respectful of C&K. Ppl brought the info to Seth and things just went downhill from there.
Would you have the interview? I've tried to find, there are many.

Thanks

Interview with CP and KP by Nancy Grace; belt references begin around 26:30.

Thanks, I watched the entire interview. Nancy did a professional job, she was definitely in prosecutor mode. It cleared up a lot of rumors for me.

So he smacked SR on the butt, one time with a belt. No CPS investigation or charges. He would have been 11 or 12. There's no law against spanking children in Tennessee. Can be investigated if visible marks. When my cousin and I (10) got lost in the woods for an entire day, we both got a couple of licks with a belt, no marks, but a reminder when I sat down. First and only time in my life, broke us, we never did that again.

Interesting story about the Cajun Navy. I wonder why the bio father, being a law enforcement officer, didn't contact local LE or the Park Rangers station he had a tip or why the CN didn't prior to searching? Could have contaminated a potential crime scene. Moo, I bet the Sheriff's Department and the Federal Park service were hopping mad.

Wows, so CP wife, takes his daughter and leaves the state. The wife files a protective order, drop in 2 weeks, in retaliation. No CPS charges or investigation every with his xwife and child.

I did notice, they look down a lot. I think they are sitting on the sofa looking down at a laptop on a coffee table.

All MHO

5) Seth is aware of the different agencies working for Sebastian, the FBI can only do what locals ask them to do. Everything is at the discretion of local LE. Seth wants the FBI to be in charge. I don’t think there is anyway to make that happen but I can understand his frustration. His son has been missing 2.5 mos. I’d want the big guns in charge too.
All of the missing person flyers have the FBI number for tips, information.

The FBI will run all, out of area tips, probably did all the forensics and sent to the state crime lab or possibly Quantico, forensics on all the computers, phones, enhanced all video, etc.

Local LE will oversee ground search, obtain search warrants, follow up on local leads, coordinating all information, analyze and hypothesize with the FBI, Local LE will handle all press and media. FBI NEVER talks, till the investigation is over.

I've learned here, it's the same pattern in most all investigations. Seth should be aware, he works in law enforcement. Moo, it doesn't bode well with local LE to imply the FBI needs to take over. Having good repore is importantly to keep communication open.

Good Morning,

As many know, I’ve been the private investigator on #SebastianRogers case. I’ve been involved since early March, and have worked consistently and tirelessly with many incredible people in this community. I need to announce that I’ve been asked to step down.

This decision was made after hard conversations, and in congruence with boundaries I’ve personally held in regard to the direction I believe my investigation should go. Seth and I have chosen different paths, but our goal stays the same. These cases are difficult, and discussions on who to involve in an investigation are not always agreed upon. As most know, I am highly protective of the victims and families I serve.

Everyone involved wants nothing more than to find Sebastian. Seth is aware I will never stop searching for Sebastian, and he does not want me to. I will continue as I have, for two months, just now it will be independently…

This case is such a mess. IMO, the drama and grandstanding have done little to further the case. Sebastian's name and face are out there, but it is my belief that Sebastian himself is no longer out there. If the circus on social media, podcasts, etc is any indication, I feel sorry for what this kid had to endure in his short life.

10 PM THUD sticks with my thoughts of his time of death. Makes the 3 hour phone call makes sense? Put Sebastian in the car in garage.
Just my thoughts. I don’t think he was gone at 6 am I’m thinking earlier???

All my opinion...

I've been waiting on this!!!!
Moo.. I think this is more than going in a different direction with Seth.

Seems the Tennessee Board governing PI licences has strict guidelines, based on State laws pertaining specifically to PI.

• PI required to provide true name on all communication, advertising, all written and verbal communication and including address and contact number. Failure to comply, results in misrepresentation, fine, possibly revoking license.

•A binding contract must be signed, in order to represent any individual. Strict guidelines governing payments for services from the client only.

•Clearly defines confidentiality.

Seems, I'm not the only one who contacted TN to verify credentials, after being unable to verify a license on their website.

Reference for above ... The regulations can be downloaded, under 1175-04.

From Chloe's statement:

Her statement confused me until I read your post. Your post makes perfect sense.

Just diving into this today. The whole thing is just so strange, but my immediate thought about not wearing any shoes is that SR locked himself out accidentally. That's the only way I can reconcile someone with likely sensory issues combined with a traumatic fire ant incident going outside without shoes. Maybe he went out to check out a noise with his flashlight assuming he would immediately be able to get back inside, but then became locked out.

Does anyone know if SR knew the code to the lock pad?

Feel silly having to ask this can you explain what you mean? i interpreted this to mean that she is not actually a Private Investigator, Seth found out and fired her/chose to no longer continue working with her or did I completely misunderstand that?

Yes, according to Kate, Sebastian knew the code.

The flashlight that Sebastian may have taken was one of those keychain type. About the size of a Bic lighter, when new they give off enough light to illuminate a keyhole in the dark. Not really enough light to get around outside or even inside.

I do know, the TN Board does not have a licensed PI by this name. The website does not list the name on her FB and Instagram account, in the search. I linked it above.

When I called TN, the lady said no record under the name Chloe Dxm licensed in TN. I ask could there be another name and she referred me to the guideline...required by law to use "true name".

I called back this am, it's over an hour wait. Again, no record, she stated the office is aware of the situation.

I wanted to verify, after looking at her social media, I noticed no phone address or email. Kind of got a red flag there.

Maybe, Seth will share more tonight.

Moo ....
