TULLAHOMA, Tenn.- An arrest has been made in the case of a Tullahoma nursing student whose burned body was found in July.

I suppose it's a start....maybe murder charges will come later? :please:

At least he is locked up, and not terrorizing Meg's family and the townspeople at large.......

Bond Hearing For Man Arrested In Connection With Murder

Donnie Jones was arrested last week on unrelated weapons charges.

Jones lives with his wife and five children in Tullahoma. Franklin County Detectives searched the home of Jones on Thursday, and found him to be in possession of several firearms. Officials said during the search they also found items of interest that could be connected to the Sharpton case.

Interesting! - Hmm, Holly Bobo was a nursing student...

ETA: might want to post this on Holly's thread...

Megan Sharpton; nursing student - Megan, worked as a waitress at Yamato restaurant in Tullahoma and also worked at a nursing home to gain experience in her career field.

Holly Bobo; nursing student also worked part time as a cashier at the Food Giant; Hwy 69 Parsons, TN.

I wonder when and if Naomi (DJ's wife) will be arrested. Apparently Meg went to wherever she was killed because Naomi told her there was a job opportunity. Wow.

Sharpton's mother told NewsChannel 5 that Jones has ties to Megan Sharpton through his wife. She said her daughter and Naomi Jones carpooled from Tullahoma to nursing school in Murfreesboro.

Yep --- it reminds me of so many cases where prison guards fall from inmates (naive/stupid, much?) and then help them out to either escape, or carry on being criminals once they are release. Some women's self-esteem is just that rotten.

Heather Sullivan - Centerville/Franklin County, TN, was employed at a transportation company, had went to her car at 5:30 cst to retrieve items from her car when the abduction attempt occurred. As was Holly Bobo's home, Heather's home was very private/secluded/rural/forested...

I think you are really on to something Foxfire! That all three had some tie into nursing schools, along with their proximity to each other has got to be more than a coincidence!

Bond reduced for suspect in Sharpton case

Bond was lowered today for a man that authorities have labeled as a person of interest in the July 2 murder of Tullahoma nursing student Megan Sharpton, 24.
Coffee County Sessions Court Judge Jere Ledsinger judge lowered bond for Donnie Jones from $500,000 to $100,000 in a bond hearing Friday.
