the thing is they have had time with AB now like days and days to talk to her be that in SC or TN

so having MB brought in, to anything she says like " my mom did this or that" they could easily be saying " look we've spoken to your mother and she doesn't agree with anything you are saying about Evelyn:"

it should be that simple i hope this is what is going on right now in that police office

@PommyMommy - thanks for reposting the video. Having watched it again, I found the following to be unusual and/or disturbing given the circumstances of this missing child case:

First and most important was the only genuine sign of grief or distraught that I saw by MB midway through the interview. After nonchalant responses to the interviewer's questions, I thought MB's emotions telling when she said that she missed EB's scent or smelling EB and missed not being able to hold her. IMO, her reaction here was the knowledge that she would never be able to smell or hold her baby EB again.

While it's also unknown why MB appeared in court on that date, she told the reporter that she told nobody that she was due in court. When further pressed, she indicated that her grandmother would definitely have been there if she was aware MB had a court date.

I just saw it reported today by MSM for the first time that MB is only 18 years old. At this time, I'm more inclined to believe that MB's court appearance was about an unrelated prior juvenile court matter than an issue specific to EB. Had it been about EB, I think networks would have reported that CPS declined to comment and/or discuss the hearing when contacted.

Relative to someone believed trustworthy (i.e., AB) to be caring for EB while MB worked, how could one trust an individual that prohibits the mother from having any contact with their child for more than 60 days when providing childcare! Obviously MB was not working 24/7 for the past two months at the Chicken Shack.

I've long believed that EB may have had an accident where EB could not be revived or MB discovered EB deceased while under her care -- and she contacted her mother for help. AB appears to be no stranger to the criminal court and may have disposed of the baby's body-- counting on nobody alerting authorities -- thinking she was saving her daughter from criminal negligence charges.

MB told the reporter that MB's favorite thing was taking a bath -- perhaps EB left unattended and drowned in the tub. MB indicated EB could open packets of apple sauce or snack containers and may have choked. I think the plastic reseal tab might be attractive for a teething baby and also an easy a choking hazard.

Lastly, based on MB's statements thus far, I think it possible that MB did in-fact lie to AB/WM that she had purchased the BMW when they drove it to NC. I think MB would have probably done anything to appease WM (AB's boyfriend) to keep his silence -- including buying them a vehicle, is she thought he had knowledge about EB's death -- accidental or otherwise.

Excellent post, Seattle1.

MB's statement that her grandmother would have been in court if she had known about stood out to me as well. I wish the reporter would have asked MB why she didn't tell her grandmother about it. MOO

I hope this is the beginning of the end of this mess.

The WVLT reporter said MB's been in the police station since 4 pm. She's skating on some pretty thin ice but I don't think she can resist the opportunity to talk as long as she doesn't suspect the tables are turning. Meanwhile, you just know LE and TBI, armed with new information, have planned everything, down to the last letter, as far as what they'll say and ask her in order to trap her because of her own words. What a contest but I suspect MG is going to lose and I hope that happens tonight.
ETA: addition to sentence in comment: ".... LE, TBI and FBI..."

Same here. My daughter is EB’s age, and I honestly didn’t think much about her snack comment. My daughter has little snack cups all over (floor of her playpen, coffee table, etc.) and they do end up on the floor often enough. I didn’t automatically think she was a bad mom for it. For other things, yes, but definitely it that.

I agree. When my siblings and I were young children and mom had to take a trip, my dad would put us to bed with water and "bedtime snacks" he packed for us. Mom would be so annoyed to hear dad say his kids were perfect angels, and that he slept all night without interruption. After a while, it wasn't until mom found orange fish crackers under my pillow that she finally figured it out. ;)

Most of the counties around here have encrypted.

here as well the only ones you can get are country fire and marine police and maybe metro fire

anything police related moved to digital encrypted years and years a go

although when i was a younger man i had a police scanner and we used to listen to our local area, provided many interesting nights of listening

I haven't seen this interview until now.

WCYB

So according to MB, it was HW's brother's car, but also HW's car, but also their mother's car ?!

WTF kind of word salad is that ?!

So, the guy who's doing the live feed on the news station's FB page said that he was told by the sheriff's office they don't do polygraph tests. So did really go there and just lie about it?
