Let me just put out there, again, that I still have not eliminated TB on the list of people who could be involved if EB is no longer with us. MB does not seem smart enough to pull all of this off on her own for more than 24 hours. AB has been so unsuccessful at hiding things that she has been caught repeatedly and lost custody of her children. HW is young, inexperienced, and has already been caught in crimes. The only one in the family that seems bright enough to work out a logical coverup is TB. I don’t think for a moment that he would hurt EB, but I don’t know that I can say he did not help MB cover it up. I know he reported EB missing, but it could have been a part of the entire plan. EP would eventually ask to see Evelyn. TB owns a paving business, which would be a great asset if one were looking for a way to coverup an accidental death. All MOO.

BBM. Actually, a paving business is a great asset if one is trying to cover up a death that is a result of negligence or homicide.

In the missing person case of Jessica O'Grady, her body has never been found. Her convicted killer has never confessed and his family supportshis innocence. A few years ago, LE learned the killer's father put in a new concrete patio. LE dug it up to make sure Jessica's body wasn't there.

Hmmm, maybe he hit a sprinkler head and broke the valve glass. Could be from hiding something over a dropped ceiling.

Apparently it was his legs that were wet. Something that might happen if you waded into a pond or river with something you wanted to deposit there (weighted)?

"She said her grandson was wet and explained why.

“That he had been at a motel and the pipe burst and he got his feet wet and somebody stole his money and he needed money to get back to Bristol,” Mary McCloud said."

Search for missing 15-month-old TN girl at NC pond ‘inconclusive’

ETA: Since they already confirmed there was no pipe that burst at the hotel WM stayed at, I sure hope they check every body of water between there and his grandma's house...

After searching a pond, how do they come up with an “inconclusive”?

Guess it means that something was found that they aren’t sure whether it is applicable to this case?

One report said nothing was found and then this inconclusive report came out.

Thank heavens Evelyn wasn’t found in the pond!

I'm assuming since it was stated they (Wm & AB) were at a motel, the LE have checked that location out also? Like they have absolutely nothing to go on with all the lies and misleading info so would they be checking every area these people have been since the 10th or 11th of December?
I think I heard earlier that LE have no where to pinpoint a search so that would take too many man hours and resources to cover 3 states, but what about specific locations they know for a fact these people have been?

It did me too, until I realized that others who aren't talking to media might also have been asked to take a DNA test.
What got me was... I dunno, a reaction to some of what he said:

McCloud told WVLT News that he has only seen Evelyn "twice in my life," and that was when he began a relationship with Angela, which he said was in June 2019.

McCloud said Angela and Megan were not estranged but "they just had some issues where they weren't getting along." McCloud said they began talking when Angela wanted to see Evelyn again, "but she [Megan] can't never come up with a reason to produce the kid."
...
McCloud said" I don't have a clue" as to where Evelyn could be. He added that he didn't know Megan that well and that the situation is "confusing" and "scary."

"I just want to help find where the kid is and make sure she's okay," he told WVLT News. He also said that he volunteered to take a polygraph and gave investigators his DNA.

"I've answered questions to the best of my knowledge. I've volunteered the polygraph and everything."

I 'gave them DNA' says William McCloud on search for missing Tenn. toddler

It's like he's going out of his way to be helpful. I know, I know, usually that's a good thing. Call it a "hinky moment" on my part. o_O

Plus, the high bond amount - $500,000 hints that LE would like to keep him in custody for a while. Even the bondsman said similar.

Who knows, it could just be because of his long criminal history - like many people in this case he may not be completely trustworthy. All MOO.

I wonder why being a career criminal doesn't preclude someone from owning a business. I know that the Mafia, drug dealers and so on often have jobs as fronts in the legitimate sphere, but once they are arrested, repeatedly, don't they need a straw buyer to go into an on-the-books legitimate enterprise? Wouldn't it be difficult to get credit, loans etc.? Or maybe he was never convicted and his record is clean despite multiple arrests?

I don't know anything about the business arena. I would just assume no bank would give a business loan to someone arrested a dozen times, as that person would be a bad risk. Unless he bought his chicken business in cash somehow, or with partners, but it seems to be common knowledge in his area that he's the owner.

Id bet Daddy’s name is on the paperwork. Just IMO.

I think he is trying to be helpful because he has truly been blind-sided by this case.
I have to wonder if MB was getting along with either of her parents. She seemed to be searching for someone who would take their place and provide her with shelter, food and security. EP wouldn't do it because he chose the military. Using "Maggie Wood" on her social media, promising to buy her mother a BMW, visiting great-grandparents daily (without Evelyn) because mom was there, making excuses for Evelyn not being there. All of it seems contrived to nail the affection of HW starting sometime around mid-December, 2019. The one sacrificed was innocent little Evelyn.

So if they didn’t have Evelyn why were they running?!? o_O

I don't think we know if they were actually "running". That was just another story MB stated that "they just took off". I mean I haven't come up with a reason why they were there, in my mind, when it came out EB was missing, but AB was sure to tell the judge she " wanted to get back there to (was the word resolve?) the issue about EB. But that was Friday evening and it was reported Tuesday.. why wasn't she already there?

Sending hugs to you and all the other WSers!!!
I 100% agree! I have a 2.5 year old and would never sleep until every rock was unturned. Any mother with actual emotions would be out searching for her child the second they arrested AB and Evelyn wasn’t with her like she claimed. A mother who already knows what happened to her however wouldn’t waste her energy while her walls start to close in. I believe she knows where Evelyn is whether alive or not.
I weirdly do believe HW has never met Evelyn, just a hunch.
Also, wondering where she was supposedly going to get the money to pay for that car if it wasnt a “gift”. I know money was not actually given but someone had to believe she was able to make a payment in order to consider transferring the title. I could be completely off, maybe he was going to deduct from her chicken pay.

Also I wish they would go check her home to see if baby shark and other gifts were purchased. That would kind of solidify the lies and knowing she never expected to see her child for Xmas.

I hate to judge a person I don’t know. But as a mother you don’t just say “Grandmom’s got her, I’ll see her in a few weeks” and write it off. You still check in to see how your little one is doing. It’s called maternal instinct. Actually it’s just called being a decent human with real live emotions.

sorry for the rant. This poor baby deserves some justice regardless of where she is.

moo.

I have issues with HW but the article quotes WMc, AB's boyfriend. He claims he only saw Evelyn twice since he entered his relationship with AB (they got together in July 2019) yet he wants to help find Evelyn and even volunteered to take a polygraph. MB said the same thing.

Like I said, I could be off base. I think there are so many sketchy characters in poor Evelyn's life that it's hard to believe what any of them say. Some people can lie quite glibly. MOO.

so not sure this was mentioned but

the car was actually reported stolen by HW's mother and it was his brothers car

so uh make of that what you will be its an interesting tid bit

will be interesting to find out if it ever was a gift or it really was due payment i find that situation very odd considering all we've found out in the last few days even with a affidavid being signed

also MB would have known if they found that car and her mother was inside and her boyfriend as well that she would get done and whatever she had outstanding would be brought up as well, so she says she was covering for her mother and we all know she has been telling lies so maybe she was actually covering for her mother to an extent

WM is whom I was talking about. He's the one in custody and if he is innocent, I'm not surprised he wants to help find Evelyn. Yeah, there are "sketchy" characters in Evelyn's life which is why they need to be sorted out. I'm pretty sure LE has made the same point.
